Both of these manga have a master/servant in the front in center. Also both the master and servant are pretty remarkable. There is also the old English feeling and the sense of dark political secrets and a hint of the mystical.
Art style is also similar.
Kuro Shitsuji has a smidge more humor and Godchild has more gore.
Both are set in Victorian era England and feature a nobleman and his butler. Also, both are filled with mysteries that the main characters must solve and the art is beautiful!
Both seem to be set around the same time period. Both main characters' parents died when they were just children, thus making them take on the role of head of their noble family. They are both earls and are taken care of by butlers who have made a promise to always be by their side. Both are very dark and have beautiful artwork. I had read Kuroshtsuji first, and when I read Godchild I thought to myself, "Wow, this has a lot in common to Kuroshitsuji in terms of main characters"
Both are beautifully drawn, with fantastic characters which (most of the time) stay true to the Victorian age. Both have young Earl's, unique butlers, supernatural events and fantastic storylines.
Very similiar atmosphere in both series, and both have crimes and supernatural incidents.
I read the Count Cain/GodChild series first and completed it way before I knew the existence of Kuroshitsuji. However, the storyline for both is very very similar. They both grew up without their parents. They both have amazingly loyal butlers at their side and they also have a girl at their side that they want to protect. They even have a couple of recurring friends who help them out (Oscar in Cain, Lau in Kuroshitsuji). In fact, it's probably faster to list the differences between the two series.
Firstly, there's more (obvious) supernatural themes in Kuroshitsuji than in GodChild. Godchild is also darker than Kuroshitsuji. The latter have some really silly characters and recurring jokes throughout the series. Frankly, I adore the Cain series more than Kuroshitsuji because the former has really solid, well-developed characters. Every character has a fantastic back story that connects them to each other.
Both are based on young men who take over as head of their blue-blood, aristocratic English household. In both, these men are largely without family except for a highly mysterious butler who is by them at all times and who seems to excel at almost everything. The bond between Master and Butler in both series are of highlight because of how deep and unique they are. While Godchild is a bit more darker and gothic than Kuroshitsuji, Kuroshitsuji is also a dark series with a bit more comedy. Additionally, both men are apt at solving crimes that are plaguing England, most of these crimes being especially horrific.
Kuroshitsuji is a bit like Godchild in a lot of ways; mainly both take place in Victorian England, and the protagonist is a somewhat cynical, mysterious noble that serves the Crown. The plot lines also run parallel, as Earl Ciel and Count/Earl Cain are both apparently called on a lot to solve mysterious happenings across Britain while their shady and angsty past is revealed in flashbacks. The main difference is that Ciel has an awesome demon butler to help him in all his endeavors, while Cain has Riff. Both also have a very very select group of friends and servants, with a few living relatives. If you like dark manga with delicious Gothic-type costumes and scenery, Kuroshitsuji is the manga for you.
Both deal with a young master and a personally close butler to them. Each servant does whatever their master tells them to do and are very loyal. both Cain and Ciel sleep with a gun, are very demanding, have marks on their body (and only Riff/Sebastian are allowed see/touch them), have traumatic pasts, etc. Godchild is a bit darker then kuroshitsuji is though. Either way, if you love one of these series, love yaoi, or love ServantxMaster, you're going to love both series. XD

Both stories have similarity, between the Contractor and the Demon. They also have similar style and era. Characters wear Victorian-dress and Gothic style. The main characters have same deep conflict regarding their past times.
Both stories have a similar dark and creepy atmosphere and have a Victorian setting. The protagonists of each series is a high-ranking nobleman (well, boy) that have made a contract that is probably going shorten their life spans considerably.
Both characters have a contract of somesort with someone/other, are warped, have a dark past, are hunted down for a reason/reasons, ect...
i first read PH than kuroshitsuji, && i can tell that while im rading Kuroshitsuji, i have this same feeling while reading PH too. i mean, it'll give you lots of emotions. you'll laugh, cry & get mad too!creeps & darkness are together. both are great manga. im sure you'll definitely get addicted to both of it.:)
Both series have a sort of fantasy Victorian theme, though Pandora Hearts focuses more on fantasy and Kuroshitsuji on Victorian. Kuroshitsuji is, overall, darker than Pandora Hearts, though Pandora Hearts does have a fair share of horror, but neither are without humor.
Kuroshitrsuji and Pandora Hearts are lot alike. In both stories something tragic has happened in the past. There are supernatural powers and both have a lot of comedy and adventure. both are truly amazing stories with a contract between the two main characters. These two stories will make you laugh, cry, and make you want to punch that one person in your class whom you hate. They both take place in the past around the Victorian Era. While Kuroshitsuji has a gothic style of art and story and Pandora Hearts has a brighter and cheerful aura the two stories will always make you love one of the main characters. Well I know I do.
Both Pandora Hearts and Kuroshitsuji deal with servants and their masters. In both of these, the master is a (in the words of Sharon from Pandora Hearts) "shota" type and the servants are "bishounen". Both of the masters in these series have a dark auras to them at times (although Oz seems nicer than Ciel at first glance) and both of these series involve contracts plus lots of bishounen. These manga both have dark/Gothic atmostpheres to them and both are set in a European setting.
-Both main characters make a contract with an demon being to get out of a nasty situation, are born into the upper class, and will died once the contract is over (Well in Pandora Heart the contractor may as well be dead)
-The demon beings are used for protection and fighting
-Both series have a servant-and-master relationship with the demon being and contractor
-You have no idea what happened in the past traumatic event with both series.
-Both main characters are searching for something but the things are different
--Both are not finished and are a page turner(at least in my opinion) but Pandora Hearts does have several plot twisters
--And finally both have been made into good Animes that start the same way but end up having a different plot then the Mangas

Strange cases, strange butlers, need I say more?
Both set in the Victorian era and both the lead characters hold the title Earl. Rather dark in certain premises though Kuroshitstuji has more humour in it.
Let's not forget the super loyal and capable butlers in both the manga. Another note, both Cain and Ciel have 'scars' at their backs where they refused anyone to see it other than their respective butlers.
Victorian England setting, nobleman and butler / master and servant relationship between the main characters, mysterious crimes occurring in town, gothic atmosphere, fascinating plot twists - both share these elements although The Cain Saga retains a higher, much graphic degree of violence and grotesqueness.
If you liked Count Cain Saga (and it's sequel: God Child), I highly recomend you Kuroshitsuji (AKA, Black Butler). Both of them feature a victorian aristocrat and his loyal butler as main characters.
Both of them involve mystery and dark organizations.
Plus, both series (and main characters) share a very similar ending.
For all lovers of Victorian Era, I suggest you to read it!
Both are based on young men who take over as head of their blue-blood, aristocratic English household. It's similiar to it in by how it gives you the same feel (well, to me anyways lolz) that Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro gives you. ^^ It may not seem like something good, since it doesn't seem to have a 'real' mainstory, but as you read on, there's an inkling of mystery that I cannot pass up on NOT finding out. The stories a bit dull at first and may seem like any other manga, but please do NOT be fooled by it; it has a special place in my heart, as do any other manga and anime that I like do, that I must recommend for everyone.
The main character, the butler, named Sebastian, reminds me very much of Neuro, only a bit more mysterious and not quite as sadistic as Neuro is. The boy that Sebastian serves, reminds me of Yako; their relationship isn't the same as Neuro's and Yako's is, but I hope that it reminds you of them if you get a chance to read it.
One thing that is another up about it is, is that the art is very beautiful and it's very hard not to resist oogling it =)
[re-edited]
I have to say that while reading Neuro and Kuroshitsuji, I found things quite similar between the two. One not only being there humor of both (which Neuro has more of then Kuroshitsuji), or the mysteries the character's are plunged into but as well as them being about two demons. The only difference is that Kuroshitsuji's demon devours souls, and has a contract, while Neuro eats mysteries and has no contract. Both partner up to solve crimes that plague the country, as well as provide a sense of entertainment for the readers. Though Kuroshitsuji is still different on many levels, as is Neuro.
Both consider of a mysterious storyline one way or another. But, although protaganists Sebastian and Neuro are alike, and both have demonic powers, one eats mysteries and another eats souls. Their personalities alter, as well. Both have their twists in comedy as well. Private Evil Eye Nougami Neuro probably focuses more on solving mysteries than the many predicaments Ciel and Sebastian go through in Black Butler.

Grell and Riddle are both undertakers/shinigami and their personalities are also a lot alike. Brad and Sebby are both workaholics. Undertaker Riddle makes a contract an funny immature 17 year old school boy instead of a brat (and i mean that in the nicest way possible). But the conditions of the contract are different and the plot as a whole are different. Their clothing style for the characters are similar.
Both of these manga involve a younger, shota-like character and an older, bishounen character. Also, in both of these manga, the younger male has made a contract with the older. At certain times, even the characters act similarly and both artists have a similar art style. There are bishounen and cute little boys in both. Although Kuroshitsuji is set in Victorian London and Sougiya Ridoru is set in more modern times, Sougiya Riddle still has Victorian-style undertones. Plus, overall, both manga have a dark/Gothic feel to them.

The art styles slightly resemble each other, the main characters of both series are demons who can consume human souls. Also, at moments, I got the same feeling I have while I'm reading Kuroshitsuji.
The artwork, feeling, and concept of consuming souls (as a humorous subject) is similar. There is the pairing of a male child who cannot do much by himself and an experienced and seemingly omniscient older demon.
The Characters are a bit alike and it's from the same mangaka.
There sometimes are also dark situations between the two main charcters.
Both are drawn by Yana Toboso.
Toneriko is to Ciel as Tekirai is to Sebastian; in both stories the main boys family was killed and he is seeking revenge. also both have hints of bl, great art, and a grasping story line-
if you liked one you'll like the other
I think it' s similar only because Doors of Chaos made in gothic style, just like Kuroshitsuji, so I loved it.
Both have kind of sadistic butler.
Kuroshitsuji and Hi no matoi both have beautiful art and some of their characters remind me of each other- a noble "brat" and an unorthodox "older brother-like" figure- even so wakagimi reminds me more of sebastian and kotarou reminds me of ciel
Because it also involve abnormal creature such as demons (akuma), death gods, etc. It also involve a lot of action and comedy in the story. You will love it as well.

Both are dark and mysterious, filled with fancy clothing and beautiful characters, who appear to be superior than ordinary humans. In Kuroshitsuji you can find demons and shinigamis, while in Shirokuro Kitan the Malice users are called with the same names by the people, even though it is yet to be revealed what are they truly. The main characters (Ciel/Ririko) are trying to find the truth behind their parents' death/disappearance and some kind of supernatural being/power is helping (or wil help) them, but not for free. Also, it seems that in both there is some kind of conspiracy going on in the shdows, for which only a few of the characters know. Their parents are most likely involved in it. You can find similarities in the art too, since the artists rely on it more than on words when it comes to showing a character's emotions.

Gothic-styled mangas about a boy who summons a demon to be his servant.
It is true that they both have very different storylines and are different in many different ways, but they are both very similiar. One way is that the main characters both face dark times. They both have something they want to protect. Utsuho travels a lot helping people while Ciel and Sebastian help out the queen. They both gain allies on the way and face many hardships. They both have great animation and have a great storyline. Although they have many differences, such as the fact that their personalities are complete polar-opposites, they both are very amazing. So read it!

Both have nice art and a main character who possesses a contract with a demon
they both have butlers who is 'perfect' at everything
They both have a demon (handsome with dark hair) who makes a contract with a human.
They are about the main character doing something in order to get revenge on a certain person and both anime have a good balance of humor and seriousness.
But the plot, setting and characters are nothing alike.
The main character was humiliated and striped of it's power and other things and was as good as dead because of an unexpected incident however because something happened they planned to do whatever methods to achieve his/her revenge.
Both have master servant settings. Boh have demons involved. The masters have the same attitude. although kuroshitsuji is darker, Inu boku also has his dark moments. both great mangas (and as i say myself, they are both shounen but i think both aremore shoujo)
Kuroshitsuji and Shinigami Doggy both involve contracts between a young boy and older male. Both of these manga include the supernatural and a dark atmosphere.
Basically, a young noble of high standing (despite being. . . young, i guess?) that have odd servants.
Both are about butlers and their little masters with their relationships being more sinister than it seems on the surface. Also both these manga have fantasy elements.
Hanatsuki Hime is about a girl who was born dead and her mother summons a demon to lend her his heart for sixteen years in exchange he will eat her.
It's similar because with the whole demon, contract thing. And the eat your soul, eat your flesh thing.
yeah its a like but the endings are entirely different.
Both are dark fantasy-ish whit really dark undertones, but still a sense of humor. Both are also action and both has, while Vassalord is a real shonen-ai, much boyxboy fanservice. The art is very refined in both and the characters are interesting and the whole story is mysterious. And Ah the handsome guys!
The art is similarly spectacular. And they're both contracts involving boys and some other supernatural being.
Square Enix worked on both manga.
In both you'll find eye-patches, Shinigami, contracts, death, a dark mood, and great art.
But the most notable similarities are those between the characters: in both series we have the usually clumsy meganekko (Michiru/Meilin), the gay man who provides some comedy (Hakka/Grell), the always calm and kinda tedious Chinese guy whose eyes are constantly shut (Toho/Lau), the emotionless pretty girl (Kuze/Ranmao), the weird and non-human ferryman/grave-digger (Bekko/Undertaker), the cute and cheerful shota boy (Yuta/Finnian), and even the domesticated wolf (Raika/Pluto).
That said, Zombie Loan is overall way better.
Both series have a handsome young male protagonist who becomes involved in a series of mysteries and crimes, many of which are supernatural in nature, while also contending with his dark personal and family histories.
They both deal with demons and running a large mansion with some odd servants
Kuroshitsuji is darker than Natsume Yuujinchou too, with the same saddness; don't be fooled when you start reading it, it's NOT a yaoi manga. It starts off with a few mundane stuff, but it gets better and more in depth with an inkling of a darker tale than what it appears to have.
Similar main protagonists and art style.
Both manga are eerie and supernatural
Both tell the story of a human master who controls a demon through a type of contract. The demons themselves are alike in both appearance and attitude.
Sebastian look like Hagi. xD And both of these manga have a master/servant relationship. There is also a dark atmosphere.
Both have similar dark atmoshpere and the main characters of Belmonde and Kuroshitsuji are similar.
Set in 19th century England, both have bishounen, some supernatural and magic element. Both are comedy with a little bit of action (in Kuroshitsuji there is much more)
Sebastian VS Hildegard. Demon butler VS Demon maid. Both mangas have a sense of humor you won't forget.
There is servant/master character and a lot of demons. It's relly nice and funny manga and art is similar too.
Although Kuroshitsuji has more of a supernatural and much darker setting, whereas Emma is a romance story, both works take place at the same era and share the same backdrop, Victorian London. Also both revolve around the lives of English aristocracy and they insert some ethnic Indian notes in parts of the story. In a way, the protagonists of both works are fighting with their own "demons" to overcome the obstacles in their way to achieve their goals. Their art is very detailed and beautiful, especially the depiction of the clothes and scenery. So if you enjoy reading novels set in old and elegant environments, with maids and butlers, fancy clothes, ballroom dances and banquets, old style architecture and items as well as elaborate language, social needs and standards of that era, with some doses of drama and struggle in them, then both manga works are for you.
Shitsuji-sama no Okiniiri and Kuroshitsuji both have amazingly handsome butlers. Shitsuji-sama no Okiniiri is shoujo since the main character is a girl. But if you're attracted by beautiful uniformed butlers, it'll be a pleasure to read either of the two titles.
Supernatural genre + demons + old London with people in lots of fancy clothes.
Both have a younger boy as a main character. Both stories focus on the relationship between the main characters. Both are mainly mystery shows with some fighting. Both are kind of gothic but Karneval has a more Circus feel. Both are really good.
Have you ever fantasized with Sebastian? Well, Kain from "A Sex therapist" looks like his perverted twin! You can consider AST like a yaoi hot spin-off of Kuroshitsuji (without Ciel, of course) :D
Well... For starters they're both gothic manga... Action... Yeah ^^'
A Master/servant relationship, demons, action, and a hint of shonen-ai.
'No. 99..' as well as 'Kuroshitsuji' tells about the young earl and his loyal butler. One difference is that in the first manga, butler is elder man (something like Tanaka in 'Kuro'). But the both lords are very similar-looking and pretty spoiled.
Besides, 'Ningen Omocha' is yaoi, and 'Kuroshitsuji' is authorship of yaoi mangaka.
