Synopsis

One morning, 16-year-old Sey's world is turned upside down when her mother announces she's moving to Italy to finish her novel. She's made arrangements for Sey to live with her friend, Meja, and Meja's creepy daughter, Terry 27 not exactly Sey's ideal living situation, but she has no other choice. Sey has a killer crush on a teacher named Mr. Cho, and she's beyond shocked when she learns that Terry knows him well ... VERY well.

And so begins I.N.V.U. (I Envy You) - a hip, moving, topsy-turvy look at the lives and loves, trials and travails of 4 teenage girls.

I love INVU, and I was incredibly excited when the fourth book FINALLY came out in September '07. It took three years or something for that last book to come out, the third came out in '04 I believe. I never get tired of the characters, and it's so much fun to read. At least check it out, it's different in my opinion than a lot of school romance stories. The pitfalls each character experiences is something that really could happen to anyone. Love is weird and uncertain, and I enjoy that this manga doesn't try to make it such read more

Both are manhwa, for starters. Both deal with some odd characters, family issues, misunderstood backgrounds, and both have a touch of romance.
