Well I wasn't expecting alot from this manga because if the art, hmmm..
Let's just say that one shouldn't judge a book by its cover. But what's surprising is that the character on the cover is slightly different from what's inside. However this is a great storyline with potential to excel so I'll be keeping a lookout for the next chapter.

After reading the Manhwa, I finally read the summary (again) and I gave myself a pat on the back for actually reading the story after reading such an impossible summary. I mean the summary was just sad, I don't know whether I just have random taste or because I completely didn't read the summary (maybe?) but if I were in my right mind and having read the summary; I wouldn't have looked twice at such a directionless Manhwa so yes, the summary puts the Manhwa to shame (finally got to the point).
Well, let's cut to the chase.
This story has circumstances.
What do I mean?
The characters have something that we (the readers) have to get used to; for example: a three-legged cyclops with a mustache and a bad sense of humor...
Don't worry that was just a really random example and was not in the Manhwa but yeah, those are the kind of circumstances I'm talking about.
Also, the story had another dimension to it, not the I'm-gonna-smoke-me-pipe-and-ponder-things-Sherlock-Holmes-style nor was it I-am-so-tots'ally-not-in-a-shallow-love-affair-although-the-story-has-no-other-topics-to-talk-about kind of style but a bit of both.
...
Who am I kidding! Yes, it does have a bit of both but if you had to measure, definitely the latter style was more like a 95% and the previous style was more like 5% than anything.
The ending was a happy ending.

The WHOLE STORY was more or less like Cinderella but...

The art was very... non-realistic. This time with the lava-lamp eyes, magazine-like eyelashes and lips, etc. The art didn't deteriorate much as the chapters went on, not as much as the story, anyway; honestly, when you start low; how low can you go from there, you know what I'm saying?
Generally, it's a touch sad and very much lukewarm but it's a pretty nice story to read on a rainy day when you're chowing down on snacks because you feel like crap. read more

Both have a shop which deals with "interesting" merchandise. The owners of the shops are extremely mysterious, somewhat cold. They affect their customers in some sort of way. However, Petshop Of Horrors is, obviously, Josei/Horror, I Wish... is a Fantasy/Shoujo.
