This manhwa is another work of Hwang Mi Ri & have 39 chapter & each chapter has 35 pages..
The story is not a least bit unique & can predict what was gonna happen next. Particularly the 'gang' theme is overly used, but I guess its the trademark of the manhwaga since Hot Blooded Woman is also the other work of Hwang Mi Ri.. Boys like to fight, a naive girl & some hidden agenda but it work out in the end & it ends well. So its not a surprised if there's some similarities within the two manhwa's.
What makes me interested in Hwang Mi Ri's work, probably the art. I love the manhwa style of art.. The artist uses clean lines, amazing details, the expressions, the backgrounds & the overall outlook of the characters was just too good..
Characters is another thing for me to be interested in a manhwa/manga.. personally, i like all the characters here even the villains.. Uhmm, well, i didnt consider them as villains but rather a troublesome characters maybe cuz they are not that 'evil' as I usually seen in other manga's.. Basically, for me, the characters here are all likeable.. ^_^
I really enjoy this.. !! so I don't really mind any lacking part or the bad points of this series have as long as it doesn't change the fact that it sustains my interest & I keep on laughing throughout the series.. One of my top list is all I have to say..!!
Overall, its a great read & worth reading..!! So if you love the bullying/hate/love/gang theme, its worth a try.. ^^ read more

Story:The story line worked like this, it gave the basic plot and it worked it through to the end and when you think that it should be ending, they throw in another plot twist. All of them were rather predictible, but they kept one on their seats and with the manga.
Art: The art was very detailed. There were a lot of lines in it and the style continued all the way through. The style was executed well and not in anyways overdone... there is such thing as to much detail. Forewarning though, there are some rather graphic scenes where the characters get blodied up. Be forwarned, as they seem rather accurate and detailed, but nothing that is a gross out.
Character: The characters, how they developed out to their fullness was great to see. Each one of them has a storyline to their lives and it ends up all linking together in the end. However... I get the idea that there was somethings slightly left hanging at the end.
Enjoyment: I am not a major fan of romance, expessully when it gushes and there is a good storyline with it. This had a very good story line to go with it, not to mention great characters. It was also hilarious at times, and sometimes sad, but mostly hilarious, the misconceptions that end up happening.
Overall: It was over all a good experience. I wouldn't wish to reread it as it isn't one of the favorites, but it was a good read and kept me reading. It had nothing special to set it apart from the others, other then the story twists that I have to admit... I've seen in various other mangas. But it was still a good expereince. read more

Both are manhwa shoujo, which involve "jjangs", gangs and romance. Quite similar twists/developments - the female lead is kidnapped as part of a revenge plot, etc... Although the female lead from He Dedicated to Roses cross dresses as a guy for parts of the story. Both female leads are treated similarly by their classmates (in Hana Yori Dango it's due to Makino's social status, while for Ida it's because of her maid-master relationship with Mimi in HD2R).
Both the protagonists are female and the leader of a fighting time (even though Han-ah has no choice), they b oth get stuck in love predicerments and the back stabbing 'best friends' who tries to ruin there lives.
FIghting scenes, love devotion and Cutie boy is all straight love.
Both are well thought out and Hard to put down =)
Personally, I like He's Dedicated to Roses way better than this Cutie Boy. Cutie Boy's characters were really just too dumb and helpess for me. Almost to the point where I coulodn't stand it anymore. He's Dedicated to Roses isn't that far of a step up (as both of the leads are dumb or helpeless as well), but for some reason I just find myself liking He's Dedicated to Roses much more. There are a lot more bishies in that one too. <3 Both are worth a read though. If you like one, you'll have no problem with the other.
Similarities: Both manhwa, both great art, cute shoujo romance style, both involve jjangs/gangs and all that fun stuff, female lead doesn't have complete control over her life, etc. etc.

Both are manhwas about a girl who starts a relationship with the "Jjang" of a high school. Quite similar twists/developments - rivalry between two jjangs over the female lead, the female lead is kidnapped as part of a revenge plot, etc...
Both are manwhas with great art and deal with a girl that fell in love with a jjang leader
