Pink innocent:
There really aren't much to write about, so must of it is my personal thoughts.please skim through this review and not expect too much ^^;
(may be little spoilers)
There has not been any previous reviews for Pink Innocent and it's to be expected, since this manga isn't very well known, and nor is it outstanding . It was one day that I lost inspiration to draw and I picked up some Shoujo Manga to find inspiration that I saw Pink Innocent. The cover and first page seemed interesting, so I decided to give it a try.
In The very beginning of story Sakuranomiya Cocona, our heroine of the story, confesses to the boy that she loves: Kisaragi Renji. there doesn't seem to be any specific reason why Cocona decides to love Renji though, I believe it was love at first sight since there weren't any events that happened between them in the past.(It was a daring way to start a story, but that's why I decided to read on) Cocona is one of those rich, princess like girl that have no clue about reality. She is bubbly, innocent looking and very determined to make Renji fall in love with her as much as she is in love with him. Then there is Renji, the boy which Cocona decides to love. He is popular among the girls, but is more interested in computers. (Renji's computer often gets destroyed by Cocona during the story, the way that she kills them are very suprising, made me realize how delicate computers are)
The art is very pretty to look at, it was very sparkly and the chibis of them that were used when a funny scene is presented were very cute, but there lacks emotions on the character's faces, especially Renji, therefore making it very difficult to tell how he feels about their relationship just by looking at his expressions.
The story is short, there are only 10 chapters and 3 volume, so the sequal of events felt choppy and rushed. Personally, It didn't appeal to me all that much because the ending was predictable once most of the beginning is read, the lines during the story were predictable too (sorry if I've offended anyone there). I enjoy stories that involve more thinking and then proving myself wrong QuQ.
Personally, i think if the story was reversed and was told in Renji's view about meeting this airhead Cocona and told his side of the story, it would of made it a whole lot more intersting ^^; I did not completely hate the story to give it a terrible review, but it really isnt all that special to me, so I'll rate it a 5 overal. read more

In both mangas, the heroine is one of those bubbly, energetic, want-to-be-affectionate-with-my boyfriend types. Their guys however, are a little too obsessed in their interest (i.e. experiment & laptop) to pay attention

Both are are about young,naive girls that have huge one sided crushes on a boy. Throughout the storyline both girls persue and are constantly troubling the boys with their silly antics. They both target the same sort of audience and are very cute, exzagerated and very silly. Pixie pop follows a girl named Mayu, where she encounters a snarky drink fairy and is able to get powers pending on the drink she tastes. Mayu uses it to her advantage to make her crush like her. Pink Innocent centers around a girl named cocona, who is immensly rich but dense have a frim grasp on reality. She sets her sight on a boy that could care less about anything besides his laptop and making money. This doesnt get her down though, it just prompts her futher. Anyway both manga are adorable and I remember thoroughly enjoying it when I was younger. If you like silly,fluffy stories then try taking a gander upon these two.
