Five has its own Special A class, it's just not as exclusive as the one in Special A. In Five the class consists over several students, male ones though. That is up until Hina transfers in. Still though unrealistic antics ensue in both these mangas, due to the school's bizarre curriculum along with the top students' family backgrounds.
In both, the girls are strong, cool and intelligent, so they get the respect of those who surround the,. both are good, unique stories with romance and humor.

Both have reversed harem and are pretty similiar.
I've got the similar feeling while reading these two mangas. OK, Wallflower is real funny, while Five is more drama, but both has stong girls surrounded by marvellous guys.
one girl surrounded by handsome guys.. but one is special.. the love-hate relationship is also similar..
Awesome high school based mangas, a relationship between the vice prez and prez, but in FIVE it's not the main couple. :)
A girl must go in a boy school. I love FIVE and i think when we like FIVE, we normaly like houou gakuen.
it's similar in many ways..for example Hina from FIVE is the typical unwanted girl who always hang out with the most popular boy in school, like Haruna from Koukou Debut. Both of them are bullied by the other girls from school..both were loved by the "popular boy"'friend or friends...the "popular boy" in both mangas is selfish and acts cool..there are much more similarities but i let you to discover them...
Something about these two mangas reminds me of each other. Both have nice artwork and the heroine is not quite normal (truth be told: not normal = crazy ;) ) and is in some kind of LOVE/HATE Relationship with the BAD-Boy.
Both transfer girls, who end up in all boys class.
Both has the girl and the gang of five guys. However in taranta it revolves more around two guys and one girl, compared to FIVE when the group of guys is more in the story. Both are light reading with a bit of comedy, troubles and of course love....

Girl surrounded by cute guys, well Black bird has more of a supernatural aspect
A female transfers into a school that has a higher male population than female
Both of these series pretty much have the exact main plotline. They both involve a girl transferring into a new school in an (almost for Rockin' Heaven) all boys class, befriending a group of boys who may or may not have a developing romantic interest in her. Either way, the two main girl slowly falls for the leading male characters, who both seemingly have a dark past behind them to explain their mysterious and two faced nature.
okay, i found the two main girls to be similar. both of them are girls that aren't going to cry in every chapter and in general don't need to depend on their guy for everything. both of the girls are strong and depend on themselves to achieve their goals. but don't worry, the guy still saves them when it's important :)

other than that, they're both romances?
