SynopsisMitsuo Shiozu is a lonely high school student who happens to be psychic. Spirits 'use' his body and mind to communicate with the dead and to help the living. These ghostly apparitions use Mitsuo in order to put right things that were left undone in life, or to tie up ends that were left loose before they left the land of the living.
In the process, Mitsuo often finds that these 'visitations' change his own life in ways he could not predict. (Source: Tokyopop) |

Story:
When I first found the Eerie Queerie manga page, I was like, "Oh, this is SO COOL! Unfortunately, it took me a while to track it down online (head to mangafox, peoples!) so by the time I actually got to reading it the glamour of finding a cool-sounding manga to read had already worn off. None-the-less, once I sarted reading, that feeling was back in full force! I actually growled every time I was called away from the computer, I was so captivated by the story. The series itself definitely gives off a warm, comfortable aura that makes it easily memorable.
Art:
The art was pretty cool, actually. The characters had the best expressions, with really added to the warm fuzzy feeling I was telling you about earlier. The panels were pretty easy to follow, and there's no wasted space.I loved the little chibis at the beginning of each chapter, too! ^^
Characters:
The characters were, no doubt about it, the BEST part of Eerie Queerie! Every single character was so unique, yet you could still connect them with mannerisms and relationship ties. In fact, whenever something major happened, everyone just seemed to shake it off. It was even pretty hilarious whenever Mitsuo became possessive of Hasunuma! Sometimes it felt like my emotions were n a roller coaster, and they seemed to change every time there was a turn in the manga. (Hehe, Mikuni was definitely MY favorite character, but you have to read the series to find out why! XD)
Enjoyment:
I'm pretty sure it's obvious, but I really enjoyed this manga. I'm hoping to buy it the first chance I get, it was so good! ^^
Overall:
This is definitely a manga that shouldn't be overlooked. Very unique, and gives ya a good laugh when ya need it! ^_- Plus, it's not unbearably long, so it wouldn't even take that long to read. I finished it one day! All four volumes! (There are 4 volumes, right? *nervous laughter*) Anyway, please give it a try! read more

One of the funniest yaoi/shounen-ai manga series I have read! Many, many times situations and dialogue was laugh out loud hilarious. The artwork was pretty consistent throughout and the storyline really kept you interested in what was happening to the characters.
It didn't drag out too long, four volumes was the right amount, although I would love to see the characters a few months later in their relationships in another set of manga.
The only thing a bit confusing was the ending was rather peculiar, as the big-eyed little Mitsuo suddenly became the passionate aggressor over his amore, the tall, very sexy Hasunuma, but if you read it, you'll see what I mean. Even so, THAT was enjoyable and extremely hilarious too!
Do yourself a favour, even if yaoi isn't exactly your thing, this is a great series to add to your collection if you like to laugh in a good way. It will always be a part of mine. read more

Both have that supernatural element that makes a nice atmosphere, although Eerie Querie is getting worse through the chapters (story-wise, but it is still worth reading it if you are bored and need a nice, light, a bit funny and short manga to read). Elements of shounen-ai in both stories, more explicit in Eerie Querie.

E.Q. is not so graphic sex wise as I Can't Stop Loving You, but the humour and situations are similar, so if you like a good laugh and some supernatural adventure when you're reading your yaoi or shounen-ai, either of these would be a good choice.
