SynopsisWhile the title suggests a story of simple, everyday school life, the contents are more the opposite. The setting is a strange school where you may see the principal wrestle a deer or a robot's arm hide a rollcake. However there are still normal stories, like making a card castle or taking a test you didn't study for. The art style is cute but mixes with extreme expressions and action sequences for surprising comedy bits. |

Comedy type: Random, Cliched, Over-exaggeration, Brainless, uncontinued scenes
Interest lvl: Quite high
Summary: This is a series trying to put abnormal characters, behaviors, and circumstances into everyday school life to create a comedy effect. It was done very badly IMO. Some were just normal, but weird, while others were pure fiction developed badly. The material was good, but the way it was developed and presented was very unfunny.
Story:2 to 3 (3)
Some parts are 2 some 3. Take for example the chapters in which the robot went to school, some jokes were made, but events just happened, no continuation of it was made after a while, and she totally disappeared. And it was finally getting good too.
Near no story, just a bunch of random and unexplained things put together.
Chapter 8 and 9 were 2 chapters which are absolutely lame.
Art:6
Nothing much to comment, all panels are understandeable.
Character: 4
We have a few or 1 main character, but yeah, it was mostly a collection of random characters appearing then disappearing. In some chapters they become the main focus then disappear again.
Almost 0 character development, except for a few side characters.
Enjoyment:6
Jokes I can't understand, badly developed storyline, cliched scenes repeated for several times, and the list goes on.
But the jokes are unique (if you can understand em'), and overall I've not seen very similar manga to this series, so it's quite original.
Overall:6
Interesting, but not very well done. This is a comedy-based manga, but its jokes are either lame, unfunny or near- impossible to understand.

Both titles are slice-of-life comedies that involve the normal yet random lives of students.
Both are school-life comedy series.
Kyou no Go no Ni is of a more normal lifestyle while Nichijou is a purposefully abnormal one. Their types of jokes are different though.

Both of these titles boast similar narrative and art styles. Expect to get a chuckle or two.
