SynopsisMeet Pam Akumachi, an energetic 13-year-old junior high student who has just turned into ...a little devil! One day, when Pam and her friends try to summon the "benign devil," the magic circle goes out of control and Pam is transported to a strange parallel world where angels and devils reside in an uneasy coexistence.
BackgroundStray Little Devil was published in English by DrMaster from June 1, 2006 to October 29, 2007. A boxset with the series was released on October 29, 2008.
This series was off to a good start at the beginning. What made me give this series a rate of 6 was the last volume. This series was going at a steady pace at the beginning and throughout the first four volumes by showing how the heroine was slowly adjusting to her situation and growing into her powers. I seriously thought the series would be over ten volumes long so when I finally got to the fifth volume and realized it was the last one I was a little disappointed. The ending was very rushed. I, and I'm sure others who have read this series, would have liked to see the heroine develop a bit more before the end. All in all, it had some good art, quite a few likable characters, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes stories about devils who are the good guys and about main characters who are sent to a different world. read more
In these two series, the main character is a girl driven in a fantasy world and who meet a lot of cute demons. The evil must triumph, the "good" must be defeated (and after all, here the "good" side is more bad than the evil).
Both series contains the same type of humor - not always intelligent, but which will please to the target audience -, the same type of characters and the same type of story.
If you liked one, the other will look very similar but you will surely like it.
