THIS IS NOT A SPOILER, but if anything you think seems to tell the point of the story, Forgive me.

First, I'm quite disappointed with this Manhwa because the Volume and Chapters are short, and there is still a lot to explain, but I don't want to look for trouble, maybe something happened with the Author and people related to this Manhwa, hopefully they are fine.

Second, to be honest I'm annoyed with this Manhwa but that doesn't mean it's not good, it's just maybe not what I expected and maybe not good for me, but I recommend this to those of you who read my first ... review hehe, the good thing about this Manhwa is the art and a lot of character arrangement and compatibility with the plot that's going on. Seriously, I am amazed by this art, it is very beautiful and animates the moment that happened.

Third, I am not a person who can judge something, especially conveying it online, but I can give a small recommendation for someone to read this, if it's a special and great thing you can read with yourselves, maybe this is just my review, to be honest I don't know what to give what comments, because I'm annoyed with this 3 Vol, so do a review XD.

Yet another Manhwa with lots of promise that gets cancelled.

Now, I'm not trying to scare you away from reading XO Sisters because it's not finished, but the fact that it was cancelled affected my enjoyment and my opinion about it. Certainly, it is not easy to review an unfinished Manhwa but I will try my best.

Storywise, XO Sisters falls into the countless generic Mangas/Manhwas that have the MC and his/her companions fight against monsters from another realm whilst the general population of the world are unaware of them. This overused plot depends on many genres like comedy or romance/harems to try and stand out from ... the others, and surprisingly, the story itself is what draws the reader, not the romance(if there was any ??) or the comedy.
Already the summary in MAL does a very poor job to describe the setting and story behind it. Obviously the MC being mistaken for being gay at an all girls school is not the main plot line. The fantasy elements and the harem are the main twist behind it.

I found the art to be very good. The heroines are beautifully drawn and the action scenes are really engaging. The character's expressions convey really well the moments of comedy and seriousness, but the backgrounds are forgetful overall.

You get a glimpse of what the story will evolve into and you barely scratch any kind of character development before it ends, but the character interactions and the story make up for it. Every heroine has a notable personality, but they too fall into the same stereotypical characters that come with the genre. Glasses to the smart, blonde to the tomboy, you get the idea.

I thought XO Sisters was entertaining. You get to see how the MC deals with his and new life in school and how he manages to get himself into strange situations with his newly formed harem, as well as the action moments that come with it. You are led to believe that the MC's abilities are not natural and that he has some hidden power that will awaken 'a la shounen-esque', but as the plot thickens, the story ends.

Overall a 6/10 okay read if you have an hour or so to waste. You are warned to read at your own risk if you can deal with an incomplete story.

Potential. XO Sisters is the epitome of potential.The series shines with a unique charm and room for development in every single chapter. The characters might not be the most well-written, and the art is amazing but it's not the absolute best. The story is pretty cliche, but with a unique spin on it. The entire manga is incredibly enjoyable and reading it is a total joy. However, it's still hard to rate it above a 7, or even a 6.
Now would be the proper time to address the elephant in the room, the cancellation of this series. It was cancelled only 17 chapters into ... the series, on a rather bad note, no less. With that fact being thrown out there, it's hard to read a manga/manhwa in which you know the ending is going to be abrupt and lackluster. However, despite this, it's still a manhwa worth checking out. The potential this series holds is incredible. It throws out ideas and teasers that all seem interesting and judging by the way the manhwa was going, it was going to be done just as good as the rest of the series. However, just as the story was rising in quality in terms of its story, it was axed.
It was a shame this was cancelled. Honestly, it didn't deserve it. It had enough quality to become a long running staple. The ideas were all set in place, much like a line of dominoes. However, as the first domino was knocked over, it stopped falling before it hit the second one. We'll never know what would have happened to the rest of the dominoes. We could assume, we could guess, we could wish. However, we will never attain the pleasure of seeing the dominoes being knocked over. Despite all of this, the manhwa is still worth checking out, it's short, so you won't be wasting much of your time. Just do it, and maybe one day the line of dominoes will be set back up again, with no sudden stops. I'm honored to have my first review be about this series, I just felt too strongly about it's cancellation and I had to write out my thoughts on it.
