Both featured a badass lead character who sport some impressive firepower. The main characters rich pasts are examined in depth t give a better understand of what motivates them in the present. In both works there is a heavy focus on religion and blood splatter.
Both the main character from Priest, father Ivan Isaacs, and that of Hellising, Alucard, are really badass , both fight the undead, in Hellsing they are vampires, in Priest they are zombie-like monsters and both main characters are virtually invincible. Both are great manga. Priest on the other side has a strong religious theme to it.
Tons of gun-fight action, monsters, blood, religious references, and the supernatural. Our main character is the baddest of them all. In Hellsing, he revels in violence, in Priest, he's more of a tortured soul.

jack frost is almost identical to hellsing with one small detail jack frost has a bit more ecchi in it characters are amazingly identical its like taking alucard seras and integra and adding slightly perverted to there list of characteristics
Honestly, Jack Frost is just a shameless copy of Hellsing, only difference is that there's ecchi that doesn't necessarily fit with the atmosphere. Jack is the reincarnation of Alucard, having his master(the leader of an organization which demolishes everything that gets in it's way) and his underling(who unlike Seras, is absolutely useless).
This manga is terribly similar. So much that it seems like a fan service filled Korean rip-off of Hellsing. I had to drop the series at the second chapter because the similarities were disgustingly similar. I'm not sure if Jack Frost was meant to be a parody or a tremendous imitation but Jack Frost and Alucard pretty much have the exact same abilities. There are vampires, ghouls, and excess blood loss. Except for the warped universe and story basis. The main characters are pretty much the same. Naha-A Joo is Seres Victoria. Hansen is Anderson. Helmina is Integra. It seems aside from the big tits, school setting, and panty shots that it's pretty much the same deal.

I dont know what people think of Hellsing and Gantz but to put them both in a nut shell. gore, more gore, and destruction. Hellsing is a Alucard killing off his own kind (vampire) and Gantz is a group of people killing aliens. Both have very detailed story lines. Gantz would be a little more gory because there is more fighting involve but Hellsing is a great way to laugh (depends on how you like gore).
Both centre around a fantasy/supernatural/not-quite-normal element kept secret in an otherwise mundane, relatively true-to-life world, and a great deal of bloody, gory violence.
To make this simple, Hellsing and Gantz contains violence, gore, and lots of everything else that you find in a good action manga. These two are not like the ordinary manga you read, to only reinforce the idea that they share similarities.
Kei [Gantz] and Alucard [Hellsing] are somewhat similar b/c over many chapters they change and able to show their real power. Not to mention they have similar art and a story with much unexpected turns.
Another note to consider is both series are produce by Gonzo.

The final antagonist's eyes remind me of Alucards
"all that needs to be said is" 2 sadistic demons dragging around their human slaves makes for a great manga

It would seem Hirano Kouta was deeply inspired by Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and perhaps unconsciously managed to grab a few things over to his giant, Hellsing, such as the principles based on which vampires work, posing and even a few scenes. Regardless of these somewhat apparent similarities, the two works are completely different in style and nature.

You got blood, you got violence, you have sexy big-boobed ladies in tiny outfits. What more similarities do you need?

These two are action series not afraid to show gore, though Hellsing is the gorier of the two. Seras(Hellsing) and Aiko(Variante) have quite the similarities from going berserk, unable to cope with their new change and some of the scenes of Aiko snapping look very similar to Seras from volume 7.

Both are action with guns, also many characters from both are similar.
Alucard - Revi
Seras Victoria - Rock
Integra Wingates Hellsing - Balalaika

They both fight evil demons, both sometimes have a lot of blood, and D. Gray-man reminds me of Hellsing.
Also, both have a vampire who is a hero. (D. Gray-man a little later on)

They both involve a normal girl who is forced into a life of killing.

Similar partnerships with Victoria, Alucard and Nikaido, Kaiman. Both present very violent and gruesome battles and engagements. While both manga have supernatural aspects, Dorohedoro is more of a post-punk sort of setting, opposed to hellsing's more or less realistic approach.

The protagonist is an immortal guy that is continuously beaten to a pulp and keeps killing and killing no matter how many times he has been cut or shot. Very explicit and detailed gore scenes.

Jack the Ripper: Hell's Blade is clearly influenced and inspired by Hellsing. Both are hyper violent action horror stories that are set in England. The two protagonists are both apart of secret organizations that hunt monsters to protect the public. They have similar art styles, and the comedy styles are almost identical.

You like lots of gore & blood, massive action, some (very) naughty scenes, religious themes, amazing art and kickass main & side characters? Then go and check out one of the best Seinens out there!

Hellsing and Chrno Crusade are similar in many aspects. There are demons instead of vampires but Chrno is actually directed for younger audience than Kouta Hiranos manga.

I can't believe no one has made this recommendation yet. Anyway, both of these manga contain the following:
Incredibly Badass and extremely likable main characters with unbelievably powerful bodies.
Gore,
Churches, and Nuns.
And the setting and action is very similar.
It should be noted that Tokyo Akazukin is probably NSFW [Not safe for work] due to the fact that the loli main character is often found to not be wearing clothing sometimes and there is some sexual content, while Hellsing is not and is clean [except for the gore].

Small group struggling to fight against a demon threat.
|
|
|
Both tell the story of a human master who controls a demon through a type of contract. The demons themselves are alike in both appearance and attitude.
|
|
|
Both add a fantasy element to a world that's otherwise not too different from the one we know. Both also have different political groups butting heads and secretive government groups with shady motives. Hellsing leans toward heavy violence and gore in its execution, but FMA's not shy when it comes to fight scenes.

Its all about the vampires, not as viloent as Hellsing but still its all about the F*cking Vampires!!!!! ( i sensored myself as to not knowing how cursing is tolerated)

It's full of over the top action and BA characters just like Trigun, but better.

|
Lots of blood, gore, and action. If you like how Alucard in Hellsing is a very violent person than this is a good manga for you because everyone in this manga is violent and badass.

Both have the same stylish, black humour undertones to them. Of course as typical of vampire genres, lots of biting and gore. If you enjoy one you're very likely to adore the other.
//Note: Slight shonen-ai hints in Vassalord//

Coyote is one of Hirano's early hentai mangas, but unlike most of it's kin, Coyote actually has more story than sex. The story is quite interesting if you are a fan of Hellsing, as it contains prototype versions of both Pip Bernadotte and Major Montana. The story takes place in France during the German occupation in WW2, and a certain event in the end is remarkably reminiscent of Hellsing...

Both are about a demon/vampire with a contract with a church(In CB the Catholic,in Hellsing the Anglican). They also fight nazis,Tiamat in CB,Millenium in Hellsing, also they use some a army of supernatural creature.Chrome is like a "Chibi" Alucard in many aspects.

Both concern the Hellsing family.

|
Vampires and tons of survival horror fun, although Higanjima isn't as action packed as Hellsing.
|
|
|
Its almost exactly like Hellsing, a lot of blood and gore. Set in France. Art style is VERY similar. I almost couldnt believe the artists were different.

Both mangas are about vampires and have a similar content - a good vampire kills bad vampires. Also, both have blood and other content such as that...
