After a week reading this masterpiece, I've finally finished all 11 Volumes. To be honest, I've watched the anime series before for plenty times, and after the last movie aired, I decided to read the manga. Turned out the manga is too enjoyable. It's quite rare to see a Slice of Life and 4-koma manga with a decent plot or story. But Kiniro Mosaic, has a really good plot. Although the plot only wanders in their high school life, but the story keep me on the same pace as when I read some fantasy or action manga. Maybe this is just me, but I'd never

read SoL manga like this before.
While the story in the anime is nearly the same, Kiniro Mosaic manga travels into deeper interactions and relationship between the characters, and place it in sequences so readers aren't confused about the story. It also had a little romance (yeah, no, maybe, idk, don't kill me), nah I'm considering it is, but I don't know for sure. The ending, Volume 11, is the best ending I've ever had. I really am satisfied with it, being an ending where all our wishes as we progress through their daily lives come true, while not erasing the originality of the story itself.
Between 3 years of our journey through their daily lives, we also get to see some great arts, not a cliche art that many SoL had. I personally like the cliche art, though, but Kiniro Mosaic art had taken my liking more.
Also, don't forget about some cute interaction between each Characters! We have Shinobu, our main spotlight in the manga, a Japanese Kokeshi doll - a japanese girl that obsessed with foreign culture, especially blond hair. She become like that after doing homestay in England, and there she met Alice, our next main spotlight, a grade schooler-looking high school girl, with blond hair and also smart, but sometimes she is worse that Shinobu. Next, we had duo Youko, the Onee-chan but mostly more manly and Ayaya, the shy-smart-tsundere-and many more, as Ayaya also had a crush on Youko. Last, we have Karen, a very rich blond girl, Alice childhood friend, and also a carefree, annoying girl but sometimes is the only one who had common sense. They cared for each other, and loved each other more that anyone. Ah yeah, I forgot to mention another not-so-main character that introduced much later in the manga, my favorite girl, Honoka-chan. She is Karen fan that also obsessed with blond hair that even do as far as bringing Karen maid cafe idea for their class festival(?) and make Karen a mascot. Also, her most skillful aspect is she can spin swiftly as she balancing her body on a ball(not ball for dance, an actual ball, like basketball), while actually she is a tennis-club member. A most random skill I've ever heard in SoL manga, and I LOVE IT!! She is pure and cute and - okay stop. We're here to review, not to tell the whole world about your truly beautiful favorite character Honoka the dancing on the ball girl. There are many more great character, Kana, Mitsuki, Kuzehashi-sensei, Karashima-Sensei, our main character parents, and many more.
Yeah, that's pretty much all I can write right now. I'm in urge to rewatch the anime (lol), because I can't help myself. This manga has its place on my heart forever.
