Both heroines(?) are strong and can gets super worked up but is actually tsundere. Basically, both titles have the same kind of execution of comedy, at least for the early stages where they are not dealing with serious stuff. It could have been a popular style at that time.

the story kind of the same. Both of them is about a boy who turn to a girl and they have a lot of guys after them.

These series are similar in a way of both dealing with being an inter sexual. While inter sexuality is the bottom line of I.S. and making it a serious series, is it in The Day of Revolution a steppingstone for a nice comedy story set-up.

These are both genderswitch shoujo series, though they are completely different in how they handle the complications a genderswitch brings. In The Day of Revolution, the main character's angst at exploring the world in a 'new' body overwhelms the story at times. There is also angst in Kedamono Damono, but the characters in this series try to make the best of what they're forced to deal with. They are both very well-done series, but KD is the more optimistic and enjoyable of the two.

~ I always thought I was a guy... The protagonist have Androgen insensitivity syndrome (AIS), which greatly complicates he's way of living. He never knew that he's actually a girl all his life. In order for him to accept living as a girl, he have to move to a far a place where no one recognize him leaving his childhood friend and the girl he always likes behind. Then the story ensues... The Day of Revolution, is lighter, funny and she got easily accepted by her peers. Click on the other hand is more on drama and love struggles.

Kakumei no Hi is where a guy switches genders and has to get used to new relationships with old friends, NG Life is kind of the opposite, where a guy is the only one who HASN'T switched genders. KNH is more realistic, and NGL is more fantasy, with reincarnations and stuff. Both are really good.

In both manga, the main character is androgynous. Both stories involve the protagonist's journey to find their sexual orientation as well as their inner gender. Kakumei no Hi is much less philosophical and much more light hearted while Houkago Hokenshitsu is dark and mysterious.

About a boy who swaps his gender (Kei finds out he is intersexed, and actually more of a female, Akira gets his body swapped). And now his old guy friends are interested in him romantically, even after they know who he used to be. Have a similar sort of weird comedy, and brazen characters.

The two main character's try to hide their secret from everybody, but fail.

Both are about a delinquent boy who becomes a girl via surgery and has to cope with this sudden change, though for different reasons. In Pretty Face he has to conceal his true identity while assuming that of his crush's identical twin sister, while Day of Revolution has him replacing his former identity with a new female one, which his old friends find out about very quickly.
