the female leads in Hiyokoi and Nagareboshi Lens is quite similiar, being shy girls falling in love with the popular boy at school, feeling that they live in different worlds but wants to cross this line, so she can stand beside the boy she loves. Art is somewhat similar too

Koko ni Iru yo! add

Both are about girls who want to be more in the spot light than they are (in Koko ni iru yo, the main character is rearely ever noticed) and popular guys notice her and try to help her. Even though their methods are different. (through blog in Koko ne iru yo, and in person in Nagareboshi Lens)
