For the record, This isn't meant to be a serious portrayal of the life of Rock Lee. Its a gag manga, one should not begin reading expecting to see Rock Lee kick butt.
Contrary to most opinions I've read, I find this manga incredibly hilarious. Everything that makes Rock Lee great: His determination, willpower, quirky personality, perverted tendencies, are on full display in this series. Unlike Shuppuden where side characters take a backseat to Naruto & Sasuke, in this manga you will see more appearances from characters you may favor. Neji, Ten Ten, Ino, Guy, and others make numerous appearances throughout the series, adding creative dialog to this laugh out loud manga.
The artwork is a cross between adorable and hilarious. All characters are drawn in Chibi form, which in and of itself is funny. You thought Might Guy was funny? Wait until you see him with a head 2x's bigger than his body. The Nine Tails is super adorable and even Naruto's kyuubi cloak makes him look like a kitten ^_^
I find it hard to believe that any Naruto fans would find fault with this manga. With all the fighting and peril occurring currently in Naruto, wouldn't you like to take a break from the drama? Arrive at the manga website of your choice, find this series, and laugh until your heart is content. Rock Lee and his crazy adventures await!

At the moment I'm writing this, there were only nineteen chapters released (and two specials).
I'm gonna be very honest right from the scratch: I love Rock Lee. His effort, his optimism, his hard work, and most important, his crazy awesome attitude made him, along his mentor, one of the most popular characters on Naruto (at least, I heard he's pretty popular).
Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden is a humor manga, that follow Guy's team adventures. In this work, Rock Lee, the hard work genius, train and use not only his classic and amazing taijutsu, but another crazy techniques that will make you laugh hard (but i cannot tell much without spoilers). Besides Lee, there's Neji Hyuga, the elite genius, who is more relaxed and kinder here, and do a few hilarious stuff (but not in the crazy levels of Lee and Guy); and Tenten, the sane member, the one who's always surprised and shocked about Lee's actions (she occasionally hit him in a humorous tsundere way). And of course, I didn't forget the team leader, Might Guy... who didn't change that much in this version, since he's amusing already. Occasionally, other characters appear, like Naruto and Konohamaru, being Sakura the most recurrent (for obvious reasons).
The character design is cute, the chibi versions are really funny. Tenten is pretty and Neji's face when Lee does something "Leeish" is priceless. Guy and Lee... again, they're pretty much themselves. The jutsus are well done, in a parodic funny way (the summoning jutsu from chapter one is an excellent example).
The only bad thing about this is the irregularity: you just don't know when it will be a new chapter... at least at first. Now the series is monthly, so, problem solved!
But anyways, this is a great little manga, a funny spin-off about characters with not much screen time in the original work (Tenten has more characterization here than in the manga). So, you wanna laugh? Read this, and let this youthful and hot blooded manga embrace you!

Both are gag manga which are spin-offs from popular Shonen Jump titles

|
Both are very hilarious manga, and both are presented with chibified characters. Rock lee is a Spin-Off of Naruto and Dragon Ball SD is sort of like a remake of the Dragon Ball Manga.
