This is a cute love story between two high schoolers who are the are more than what they seem. Both characters definitely break the stereotype of buff=tough and bishounen=weak and cute. Their roles are definitely switched. However, that makes the story more loveable because you root for the tought guy with sensitivity and sometimes for him even to embrace his toughness a little in the relationship. The characters compliment each other well and combined make a great plot that anyone would love.

Very similar setting and events. Both good.
These two yaoi manga both feature a shy high schooler (similar to each other in disposition and tall, broad physique) that falls in love with a beautiful, slightly older and far more confident male. Once their relationships finally start, they need to be encouraged to initiate intimacy. If you like one, you will surely like the other. KOwA and KoR share congruent styles and are very easy one-volume reads. Kouun no Rihatsushi has, in my opinion, more engaging characters and plot, but both are well-done with clean art and a cute romance that you know from page one will end well. Sometimes it is nice to be free of drama when you are reading.
