Synopsis

"Irasshai!" Welcome to the most unruly cafe in Kichijouji and its charming staff of five who have absolutely nothing in common. When tempers rise, so do mop handles, giant boulders and repair bills. Meet Jun, a mild mannered high school student with a sharp tongue and superhuman strength. Tarou, a clean freak with a deadly aim in the art of mopping. Maki, a sloppy, lazy woman chaser. Minagawa, a talented pastry chef equally skilled in the arts of voodoo, and the impulsive, cheerful, though desperately unfortunate Tokumi. A feast of comedy based on the popular Japanese radio drama. (Source: DMP)

This has to be one of the funniest mangas I have ever read. I could not keep from bursting out into spontanious giggles. The characters are all so loveable in all their quirky -ness, and the art is very appealing. The plot was rather random and non-specific, but it works just fine with this style of humor. I definately reccomend this manga to anyone just looking for a good laugh, but be prepared to be sad when it's over.

The manga focuses on complete hilarity without solid base where the plot might progress from. Each chapter's spotlight is the daily routine of characters with madcap twists. The manga-ka splendidly incorporates neat artwork that blend with the story. Character design is clear and nicely done. Girls would want to look at this one, since all of the guys are BISHOUNENS with added "chibi" at the end of each chapter which I find really funny.

As they say “Laughter is the best medicine”. Café Kichijoji surely is that manga for you; it successfully brings out merriment in every flip of the page. So go start laughing.

Both follow the day-to-day lives of rather dysfunctional teams of waitstaff. Working!! is a 4 koma so the story arcs are shorter and less involved than Café Kichijoji de, but they both have odd characters, great comedy, and a very similar feel to them.
They both have similar aspects such as they are mostly boy that work in a café and they dont all get along. I think that if you like one you will also like the other.
