Review for Mob Jack 2 (review for Mob Jack 1 is below): I forgot this was the military section and there is a part 1. This is just gratuitous sex, violent sex at that which happens to be drawn beautifully. There is no story. There is no character development You have a pathetic excuse of a man who is put in situations where he is abused on a continuous basis. It's actually very pathetic. And do to the fact that there is no story and therefor no character development yo feel no sympathy for the character as he
faces an army squadron. Pretty bad manga but the mangaka is an amazing artist.
I decided to include a review for both since there are two parts and I've read them both. The reviews are slightly varied.
Review for Mob Jack 1: Yeah, this got as high as a 3. I'm a bit shocked I gave it that high to be honest. The art really saved this piece of junk. You like Yaoi? This is not worthwhile unless you're in it for just the violent sex. It's hard core, does touch on controversial topics--which was mainly why I wasted the time. But...ugh...
Really there was no story. I mean kid has a rather interesting relationship with a family member---then goes off to the military which turns into a fanfare of sorts. There was barely any sort of language to even suggest a story or character development. The art is very good. Some of the best art I've seen. And you feel like it's a waste of the mangaka.
In actuality, this went two ways. Either the mangaka spent so much time on the art that s/he sacrificed the story and writing for the art. Or felt her drawing was better at expressing the story---which it was not. The enjoyment...it was more along the lines of pathetic. But whatever.
If you like hentai and don't care how you get your yaoi or the quality of it. This might be of interest. And definitely for you if you meet the above and have no issues with controversial topics....like, say, incest. If you want some meet in your yaoi (totally tongue-in-cheek) this may not be for you. There is far better out there for the reader. read more
