Antique Bakery (Manga)

Both manga series contain characters who are food-loving and clumsy, as well as strict and serious managers. Both series are about the daily life of a cafe and both series contain a little romance.

Fumi Yoshinaga has found an interesting niche for which to write manga: boy's love for foodies. Both titles feature gay characters without focusing excessively on romance and shun yaoi cliches; and both have plots centering around food, complete with detailed and delicious descriptions.

Both are shoujo manga containing cake and comedy as well as some romance. Both stories portray the daily life of a bakery/cafe; the employers, costumers and rivals. Also, I really think some of the characters are very alike.

If you have enjoyed one of these titles, then I’m sure you will enjoy the other as well.

They're both really sweet shounen ai series that (referring to one of the bonus chapters in Beyond My Touch) feature a strong love for both cake and falling in love.

Antique Bakery is done by the same artist/writer as Flower of Life and is also similar in style. Unlike some of the authors other works, these two pieces really stand out when it comes to characters and overall plot. Antique Bakery in many ways is like Flower of Life once it grows up a little.
