Much like many other manga based on visual novels, they become mysterious beasts that become hard to define as to whether they can be considered 'good' or not.
I am writing this review as someone who has seen the anime adaptation and read the manga but not played the original source material, 11 Eyes the visual novel.

The manga follows a specific route of the visual novel, the Kusakabe Misuzu route.
As such certain plot points and characters are completely glossed over in the manga, as to understand the entire story one must play through all the routes of the visual novel.

Mixed Feelings
イレブンアイズ - 11eyes - Tsumi to Batsu to Aganai no Shoujo - I was surprised to find myself re-reading the manga. Actually I just wanted to dust it off. But the mix of harem, action and drama in a school setting, combined with a parallel world scenario, tempted me to re-read the manga and also re-watch the anime. I chose to review the manga, but both media are very entertaining, so within the differences I would like to give my opinion on the anime as well.

Story: Clichéd but with potential, unfortunately both manga and anime leave much of it unused (6/10)

For those who are wondering, the manga is almost 1: 1 like the anime, only with minimal variation. In addition, the ending in the manga is different (but the result is the same), but it is heavily rushed.


So what's this about again? You take the typical "School Superpower Setting" and give it an attractive theme of an alternative world, the "Red Night", and add 6 of the worst characters you can imagine.

No exaggeration, the manga could have been so much better if it had been done by a more experienced writer. Since the plot of the concept was reasonably appealing, it could hardly be ...
