I am a knight. To be precise, I am the Church of the God of Light’s Sun Knight.

The Church of the God of Light worships and serves the God of Light, and theirs is one of the three largest religions on this continent.

As the whole continent knows, the Church of the God of Light has twelve holy knights and each one has his own unique personality and features.

To be the Sun Knight is to have shining golden hair, sky blue eyes, a compassionate nature, and a brilliant smile.

“The benevolent God of Light will forgive your sins.”

I must have said that line at least a million times in my time as the Sun Knight.

However, the greatest wish in my life is to be able to stand before the entire continent and roar, “Damn your ‘the whole continent knows’! This Sun Knight just doesn’t feel like smiling! I just don’t want to forgive these human trashes! I just want to pepper my sentences with ‘f***’!”

Unfortunately, even to this day, I continue to wear a smile as I say, “The benevolent God of Light will forgive your sins.”

Basically, Legend of the Sun Knight is a story that reveals the secret daily life of being a Holy Knight. The funniest thing about the Holy Knights is that, all 12 of them have their own 'predestined' character which they have to uphold in front of people. For example, the Sun Knight SHOULD BE compassionate, sympathetic, always smiling, elegant, has blond hair, blue eyes and fair skin. But in truth, except for the point regarding his appearance, the Sun Knight is the exact opposite of all the attributes. Using the first person narrative, the novel and the manhwa give readers access to the Sun Knight's read more

I encountered this novel right after I finished reading the novel counterpart of 1/2 Prince manhua (at And I started reading it, and all hail, I liked it! The story is different from what I usually read, the typical shojo mangas... but I was surprised when I was hooked by this story until I can't get enough!

This is freakin' hilarious. So if you want to laugh, go read this one. The main character, the Sun Knight, has this split personality (the one he IS required to do and say being the Sun Knight, and his hidden personality, the one he truly feels). Because of read more

Half Prince is written by the same author. The sarcastic humour is very similar and it also has a lot of adventure.

If you enjoyed Eclipse Hunter, then I recommend Legend of Sun Knight! They were both written by the same author, Yu Wo. Both Eclipse Hunter and Legend of Sun Knight have lots of comedy but can also be serious when the time comes to it. Although both are written in a fictional way, Eclipse Hunter is more SciFi and Legend of Sun Knight is more fantasy. So if you enjoy fantasy, magic, demons, and dragons as well as comedy and action, Legend of Sun Knight is a good novel to read!
