Digimon Next (Manga)

Both the main characters are rather similar, they think big of themselves until that one moment where they get humiliated. They train in order to improve themselves as they go on adventures or quests. During those trainings and adventures, they encounter villians whom they then, fight, to protect everything that's good and sacred.

Digimon and Pokémon have a lot of recommendations, and most people say they're exactly the same, well they ain't, but one can be recommended once you've seen/read the other. The same in this case. Digimon Next happens in the near future, where like usual, some youngsters get in the Digital World by accident, they get a partner, a Digimon and get in all kinds of trouble and adventures with them. This is basically the same as in Pokémon, they get a partner(s) and get in the same kind of trouble and adventures. In both manga's the lead characters have to cross the land/world for they're goal, the art almost similar in this case, although I enjoyed myself more with the Digimon manga, the Pokémon manga can be enjoyed too. Both look-a-like in most cases, they just play off in different times. But I can defintly recommend the one if you read the other.
