They are both are about death and how it affects the people around them. Death sweeper mostly focuses on cleaning up what's left of the body, its aftermath ect. While Shigeshoushi, also known as "The Embalmer" centers its plot around the profession of beautifying the corpses to make the individual look as they did before they pershied. Both are a little gruesome but both are enlightening and are worth the read.

- both have college students MC - both have death and corpse theme - this about embalming and solving mysteries of the dead - have supernatural powers (speaking to undead, dowsing, alien etc) CAUTION : nudity n gore this manga have a darker theme but the characters dialogues tone it down by being comedic, it's quite balancing.

Both have death as main theme. In "Death Sweeper", the main character faces a suicide in family and starts work on a job of cleaning death scenes as a mean to overcome his trauma. While in "Innocent", with an impressive art, the darkness beauty of death is portrayed.
