SynopsisA reform school for juvenile delinquents established in 200X is actually a government-sponsored laboratory, which makes ultra-human warriors with genetic modification. Three new kids enter the school. Itsuki, who is actually a girl dressed as a boy so she can get into the school to look for her lost brother; Mei, a very quiet, mysterious boy; and Gentaro, an energetic boy who is easily elated by flattery. Both series are around a prison, they have very violent scenes and a main teenager male character that has to discover the many secrets behind.
Althought DW is not over yet, they both have a great plot and are very interesting.
As well Fortified School is a "must" to be read, one of the pearls from the "old school manga" :3
If you liked one of those, u'll probably like the other as well !

Both are bloody, violent, kill-or-be-killed manga that take place in a school-as-a-battlefield situation. Fortified School though has much more of a plot, is more interesting, and the artwork is really unique. If you enjoyed Battle Royale, you will LOVE Fortified School.
