Youn In Wan and Yang Kyung Il, known for the masterpiece Shin Angyo Onshi, introduces us to a new manga called Burning Hell. This has somewhat of a historical reference, back during the time where the koreans and japanese were fighting. I found this manga to be pretty damn interesting.

Story
The story is about an island that harbors criminals and lawbreakers from japan and korea. Two people that stand out the most are Juu Juu (japanese), and Han Kim(korean). Kyokudo, an island in between Korea and Japan where the crème de la crème of serial killers that COULDN'T be executed were sent from both countries. We meet Juu, who has a hunger for death and corpses (literally), can break iron chains with his awesome abdomen and has a crazy-assed pseudo-afro. He thinks that the island is deserted until he meets Kim Han who has a nasty passion for autopsies and is gruesomely skilled with knives.

And there started a beautiful friendship...

Nah!

They just wanted to kill each.

I enjoyed the story very much; you had corpses, blood, crazy hairstyles and sword-fighting: what could you want read more

At first I though that the art of Burning Hell was similar to Vagabond on some sorts. And I guess that the feeling you get reading it is pretty similar as well. :)

The two series have a freaking brute unbeatable samurai, great fights scenes and a nice amount of blood, haha.

I guess that if you liked Burning Hell, you probably like Vagabond too. :D
