When one sees the shojo label on this they may be scared, but the truth is, its quite the opposite. Although it can be considered shojo, it is completely different and unique and presented in a refreshing way that anyone a fan of shonen or even seinens can appreciate.

This is an amazing manga and definitely a hidden gem. Anyone who loves a good plot should read it! Heck, anyone should read it! It's that good.

Story: 10
The plot is great. It's solid and very well-crafted. There are tons of unexpected twists and the story just keeps pulling you along for the ride. Little nuances you wouldn't notice in the beginning pop up later to have meaning.
There's plenty of action. The magic in this story is pretty cool. Romance doesn't play that big of a role, so don't expect a bunch of fluff scenes.

It's been years since I have felt so compelled to write a review but this manga is nothing short of amazing.

The one word that sums Bokura no Kiseki up perfectly is Solid. Although a boring word at first, not many series can pull off being such an enjoyable read whilst still maintaining such a high quality of thought, art, plot line and character development.

The storyline is not something I have seen in many other series. It's an interesting blend of mystery, fantasy and action, all while taking place in the modern setting of a typical Japanese high school. It's also quite nice to see that ... despite having some elements of romance, the author does a good job of putting it on the back burner in favour of advancing the more meaty parts of the plot. Despite being a huge fan of romance myself, it's refreshing to read a series that doesn't prioritize romance like the usual manga or anime. Now as for the actually plot, despite the main setting taking place in a high school, students of a particular homeroom slowly begin to discover that they were all reincarnations of a group of people that once lived in the same castle, with the heads of the castle being Prince Eugene and Princess Veronica. After recollecting all their memories, they realize that their past lives all died due to a war between the Prince and Princess' peoples. Despite once being enemies, they begin to all work together to figure out exactly what happened in the past and who betrayed who.

What really shines about this manga is the character development of both the main and supporting characters. Everybody first begins by being a joyful happy go lucky team of classmates but as the characters begin remembering moments from their past, you can see the great toll that it takes on them both mentally and emotionally, as it should. Many people who were once friends become enemies; happy people begin to become more somber like their old personalities; and feelings of loyalty, hatred, love, and admiration come out of no where. It's amazing to watch each character deal with this significant change and how they slowly learn to not ignore or succumb to their old personalities, but to coexist with them as a new person.

What's amazing about this manga as well is how real each character is portrayed. Nobody is made out to be a martyr or a villain. They're just human; each character has their ups and downs, and their bad qualities along with their good. Paired with the plot of how the antagonist stays in the shadows the whole time, it makes discovering who the antagonist that much more thrilling. On top of that, the author has an amazing way of making the reader go on an utterly convincing goose hunt. Some characters that you once thought were good, you slowly begin to suspect. Other characters that you thought were definitely bad, are revealed to be good. Some that were good become bad and then good again and vice versa. It's absolutely amazing how intricate the plot is whist still being incredibly easy to understand. I can verify myself, as a certified idiot.

There's not much to comment on the Art. It's very simple but still pleasing to the eye. Characters are easily differentiated from one another, despite the author making fun of how confusion would arise if the characters were to get a hair cut. But otherwise, the art is a great compliment to the amazing plot and even more amazing characters.

Although I'm not a huge fan of fantasy, I have no regrets picking this manga up. It was a thrilling adventure for my mind to follow and it's a read that I highly, highly recommend.

Bokura no Kiseki is a convoluted mess since the first chapter and continues to be even now.

My first impression since I saw this series years ago was iffy at best. Chapter 0 was a confusing mess for both story and art. With that, I decided to pass on this series.
It was not until now that I see that series is still on going that I decided to try again as I always loved reincarnation stories and if it still on going, that means this was loved by some people.

Bokura no Kiseki is a story that i have been meaning to read for over a year at least. This is a story that i always put myself off from reading. May have something to do with a sense of dread i would have with this or maybe because i'm not a fan of Female to Male Gender benders.

This story took me over 11 days to read and this is something very abnormal for me sense i can read over 140 chapter stories in 4-6 days and this only has 55 stories as of the review.

One of the reasons i had with finishing this ... story i would say is a kind of dread feeling that would always come up when i would think of reading this. I use dread cause i can't find a better suiting word for it. It's not like i hate this story,
~~SPOILERS~~

The story itself doesn't have much wrong with it besides a couple and i'd say it's situational depending on the person reading.

1. This story has the biggest cast of character i have seen in media. I'm not even kidding. From what i remember over 24 characters have been reincarnated and this isn't including regular humans. With such a large cast it's no surprise that you would start getting characters that look like each other. This is made even worse when you have remember that these 24 character all have their own backstory and their own 2nd character model. So in total you are expected to remember 48 Character designs,Job in the past life, Names and personalities. With Characters having other character look alike this get's so confusing at times. With such a big cast also means we get some characters that don't have any screen time for chapters upon chapters. One character ( I believe he was a brother of a prince) Is brought up around chapter 15 i believe and isn't shown again tell around chapter 45.

2. We have character with romantic relationships going on. This is fine and all and is kind of nice too see. Only problem is that a lot of the time these characters relationships are really dived into. Such as the Minami and Takao's relationship is the best in the story yet we never see them really act like a couple or do anything with each other really. Hell, Takao doesn't even have much screen time. We also have characters such as Maki and Lily who are really perfect together.

3. Sense all of these characters are reborn and have grown up into teenagers. They all have their own family in their own houses. What i would love too see is this expanded on. Such as Minami's family starting to be interacted more and have Minami give thought on this new family vs the one when he was Veronica. I would love someone like his little sister find out about it and see her reaction.

4. We have two characters. Minami was the princess in his previous life. He feels responsible and has had to deal with so much stuff as the princess just to have her castle destroyed and her friends and loved ones be murdered by a fellow allied country. When Minami was reborn he was the only one to always remember his past life. He has had to deal with this sense a little kid. He was made fun of at school cause he brought up that he was a princess in a former life and was labeled as a freak. He has had to bottle all of these emotions and trauma from everyone around him. Even when the rest of the people regain their memories he now has to deal with a bunch of people wanting revenge, Scheming and just making his life more and more difficult. You would expect/Hope he reaches the breaking point and just brakes down for a while. Have him start crying on the shoulder of someone he knows and trusts ( Such as Takao his girlfriend or Mika) Not only would i think this help solve any problems i might have with the story. But it would also be a very nice and emotional scene to see this leader who everyone looks up to finally just let their emotions out and dealing with it for so many years of being alone and traumatized.
The other character that has had memories before the other is Maki. She has remember sense the start of middle school and has thought she was the only one. Something like i said with Minami to happen with her might be nice but to a lesser extent.

5. We have some character that are kind of weirdly forgotten but brought back at random points. Such as this girl Minami met in Middle school who was real nice and accepted him even with rumors of him being wired. A couple chapters later she is removed from the story and is hardly ever in anymore scenes. I don't know why but i feel it's kind of a missed chance to have a funny regular human character in this cast.

6. There tends to be an overly dark tone to this and i guess it can be kind of annoying at times. We are thankfully given pretty funny interactions with the Author and mini joke stories. Such as how Minami now uses his memories of being a female now that he is in a male body and the character besides him is surprised that the Princess does that.

7. I guess this would be my only other real problem with the story and it might just be me. But in case you haven't noticed this is a drama and feels type of story. Yet something that has bugged me is that all these people who were Knights or Royalty or even a servant were all pretty nice looking with some more attractive then others. But stuff like Veronica turning into a guy is kind of bumming to me tbh. I can't even stress how much i wish some of these character could return to there former bodies. Hell, Minami must also kind of wish it sense he was originally female. Then there are some other characters such as what used to be a very attractive and pretty looking female knight is now a big not so attractive chick and they make mention to how depressing this is multiple times. So it's not just me but the Arthur herself even admits it. I really do wish some of them are able to return back to their former self's.

A part of me wishes that something would happen and they return back to their former world. A part of me of that part of me wishes they would forget any of this happen. But i doubt that the characters will ever return back to their original home and i also doubt they would forget and i'm also kind of glad i know they won't forget. But again i do very much wish people like Minami would turn back into Veronica and Takao would turn back into Rida while that chubby chick i mentioned earlier would turn back into the attractive knight.

Really great story and probably my favorite manga there is. It's even more impressive sense it's just one girl doing the story and the art herself. Would recommend and i also hope this might get a Anime Adaptation one day in the future.
