Synopsis

High school is a time of new opportunity, new adventures... and the same old silliness that you thought you grew out of. Yuma, Eriko, and Ayano are three friends starting their years at an all-girls high school, and are forced to learn just how things run in this new crazy world. Joshikousei: Girls-High had nine volumes published in English as High School Girls by Dr. Master Productions from March 22, 2005 to March 28, 2008, corresponding to the first season of the series. Volume 10 onwards indicates the 2nd season, which started in 2014 after the series took a seven-year hiatus.

there is manga and anime to this title, but I'm speaking about the manga here.
it sounds very typical, but it's actually a very funny story! it's the kind of story where, when it's over, you wish it could on for another book. I think what helps is the fact that the manga-ka is a woman, and she admits to using her own experiences of attending an all-girl high school. the way the girls act, and react to situations is not at all like the normal co-ed hijinx you'd expect from this kind of story.
