The fourth son of the famous Caluanthes family is, well, quite infamous. Mockingly referred to as a bird of paradise, Fourth dresses gaudily, spends money like water, and has turned the trip he's been sent on to learn more about the world into his own personal gourmet dining tour. His behavior makes the rest of high society whisper about him behind his back. The only exception is Eiri Lawrence, who finds Fourth and his entourage intriguing rather than laughable, and who is everything that Fourth is not. Theirs is the world of high society, where truth and falsehood, and dark and light, intertwine.

Well, I think I'd say I really liked AD. It's definitely the typical Aki work: Beautiful art, nice plotline, but gradually decreasing quality of work as the chapters go on.

For some reason, whenever Aki's manga becomes popular, she either ends it or the quality of her manga goes down. This manga started off great, but after chapter three, you can see that some areas like the background become less and less detailed until much the page is just blank except for a few characters standing there and some flowers. It actually became much worse in read more

Manga: Kuroshitsuji
Basically, a young noble of high standing (despite being. . . young, i guess?) that have odd servants.

Manga: Karneval
nai and riku's personalities are remarkably alike and they both have one of their senses heightened to an above normal level

Manga: Olimpos
Simple similarities: Same Mangaka, Aki. If you liked the look of the characters from Olimpos, there are similar characters in A*D. Minus the godly status and Grecian clothing. A*D has 1800s European setting with a more funny set of main characters.
