Angel Beats! Track Zero (Novel)

Hinata is dead.. to begin with. Now he is in the after-life, designed like a high-school. Most of the students are NPC's but there are a few people like himself. The first person he meets is Yurippe, and after a short *talk* of how this world works, herself and Hinata (with other students) team together to make the Afterlife Battlefront.

At first she decided to slaughter all the NPC's but since this is the afterlife after all it was pretty foolish, so Hinata and Ooyama talk her out of it. They then decide to go after the student president (Angel)

Overall it was a wonderful read and gave more insight on what happened before Otonashi came along, you can't lose while reading this. I do not remember what I was expecting coming into this. Maybe I thought this would be comparable to the anime in any way whatsoever, or maybe I just thought it would be a good way to spend my time. To simplify things, this was a piece of shit.

It took extensive research to find this. I had to go onto many forums, I had to download many viruses, and I had to ask many questions. But once I had all of the chapters saved onto my hard drive, I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. I opened the first chapter and began reading...

By the end of the first chapter I wanted to stop reading and burn my computer just so that I would never have to be exposed to this ever again. I controlled myself though, and continued reading just so that I could type a review over how shitty it was. So here I am right now, enlightening all of you on how this is not worth the effort in finding it.

All this is is dialogue, unfunny gags that are meant to be taken as jokes, and really bad fighting scenes that make me feel like I could do better, which is saying A LOT.

I will not go into the shitty, needlessly confusing story or the completely emotionless character that cling onto stereotypical attitudes like it is their last lifeline. Instead, I will simply say that this is not worth the read. I would not recommend this to even my worst of enemies. read more
