SynopsisYamada is a castaway on an island without any ships passing by and he is unable to recall why he is there. After finding his sports bag, he assumes he was on a school trip. With only 7 days worth of food, he eventually decides to make a boat to leave the island. He thought he was alone on the island until finding a girl named Imaise Chika eating his food. They then decide to continue carving the boat together. Since the boat only has room for one, Yamada decides to set off for help, but returns upon noticing that not only has Imaise put her share of rations in his bag, they are mostly untouched as well. After returning, he notices she made the oar out of a fishing lance and he decides they can live on the island longer.

This is a relatively new manga I've come across while browsing for new mangas to read, and the storyline is quite a refreshing experience for me.
If you're looking for a realistic manga, you may not find this too realistic because it's not an everyday thing to be able stranded on an island with a hot girl and being nice to you and all. However, if you read it without being too critical, it'll draw you right in to the whole plot, making the reader hungering for more.
Though I had said earlier that the setting wasn't very realistic, this manga tries to however potray real life emotions and the dilemma a guy faces in a relationship and being alone with a hot girl. :D It is indeed quite amusing to see Yamada struggling with his feelings while trying to look after himself and Imaise. Meanwhile, I find that Imaise's behaviour is just quite similar to the girls I've known - cute, kind, but also at times unfathomable. :/
All in all, one can consider reading this manga, and see how it much it reflects in your own life. Although only 5 chapters have been published, I can already relate some of the situations shown in the manga in my life, thus making me enjoy the manga even more. Okazaki Takeshi has laid a good foundation, it now remains to be seen whether he can build a magnificent plot from this foundation! read more

This is gonna be a short one.
Let's Lagoon started as a story about two teenagers stranded on an island together, forced to work together and survive. It was decently written, the art was crisp and nice, and the series was off to a good start. But then time travel happened.
That's right, all of a sudden this manga goes from ecchi-ish Castaway/Lost in Blue to some sort of ridiculous bullshit about "time slips", all brought up casually like it's an everyday occurrence. From that point on it abandons everything about the original premise, one of the main characters gets lost in time and all sorts of other garbage. I've never seen a series jump the shark so hard in my life. Never read this. read more

Trapped on a mysterious island where time seems amiss after a shipwreck/plane crash our heroes are stranded and have to try to get home, some ecchi in both titles, but EnO has a lot of gore and horror as well
Both have a "stranded on an island" plot. They also have a romance subplot.
Eden no Ori is more mature because of gore, rape, and mass hysteria.
Both involve getting stranded where help from the outside seems impossible.
Each involve planing ahead and being strong and involve a romance element trough ought. Both fantastic and very enjoyable.

Let's lagoon is about time slip. Steins gate is about going back to the past. Both manga is about going back to the past.
