both are about Martial Arts, but All Rounder Meguru is about MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) while Holyland is about streetfighting combined with other forms of Martial Arts such as Boxing, Judo and Karate, both are also very realistic and really explain the techniques the fighters use in the manga

The two main things which make it similar is that is revolves around fighting and training in a competitive environment and second is the character Ippo like Meguru are both passive non aggressive characters .
