The story is good, nothing exceptional, but certainly enough to have you on your toes for the next update. Being an advocate of all genres, i did enjoy it and i like certain aspects of it.
If you were to read this manga for anything, it would be for the art. Its just beautiful, nice clean, crisp, thick lines, beautiful backgrounds, it was all too good to look at. It is just too nice.
The main girl is nothing special, she is the typical shy school girl who all the guys fall in love with yet she doesn't realize it. However, the boys in this manga were 3-dimensional, they had stories and motives and all very distinct personalities (some we have seen before and some we havent), i did like all their personalities and each chapter or two focused on a certain one, so you understood them more (sometimes more than the main character).
I do like this manga and i would recommend it to anyone who really likes beautiful art, or anyone who likes beautiful guys.
Enjoyyyyyyy read more

--Not too complex, easy to follow and keeps the reader interested
-It's very organized, flows well, and there aren't many fillers
-a bit unrealistic, but it makes for a better story :)
-exceptional, all the characters and scenery are really detailed and beautifully drawn; as soon as u read this u will be instantly drawn into the art!
-all are very likeable as they all have very distinct personalities from one another, and they all look different so it's easy to tell them apart
-you love them all b/c they each have their own special quality that makes them so unique and they all have their own background stories that are really interesting
-their needs to be more female characters b/c there's only one
-i even find myself loving the villain of the story b/c he adds so much drama and spice to the story
i quite enjoy it and look forward to each new release every month
I'd give it a 9/10, i def. recommend reading it if you have the chance read more

I do enjoying reading Aya Shouoto's work, but she's not the best writer when it comes to creating conclusions.
The story starts off by Hiyoki Kozue claiming that someone stole her heart in her dream. She’s basically a dead person that is a live. However, it is not a hopeless case for her, as she does remember slight details about the dream. With those little clues, she plans to find out the person who... stole her heart! Nonetheless, being the typical reverse harem that it is, she ends up having to stay with a bazillion gorgeous looking boys (because apparently there is no room for her). Sounds interesting to all reverse harem fans, right?
Let me just, the characters are aesthetically pleasing. It was fun to look at them! However, the personalities of the boys can be easily known by the way their faces are drawn. There is absolutely nothing special about them. And by the end of the anime, one of the boy’s becomes so irrational and starts having anger problems; another one becomes the savior, and finally understood by the heroine.
The ending is very anti-climatic. It was so abrupt, and poorly done. The antagonist was defeated so easily, and the love was predictable and awfully presented. You're left thinking: "Is that it!? Okayyy... why did I read this in the first place? Nothing happened!!!!!!"
It is your typical reverse- harem (you'll enjoy it for awhile), but if you hate bad conclusions, don't read this!!! I didn't rate this harshly, because apparently the manga-ka was extremely stressed, and had to end this quickly (this isn't really a great excuse though, because her other manga has the same problems).
In this manga, they didn't steal Kozue's heart; they stole mine, and stepped on it! I was left disappointed and heartbroken!
(Sorry for the informal writing. I thought it would be appropriate for this manga: rushed, and sloppy.

STORY-the plot is creative, and drew me in. Somebody steals Hiyoki's heart-literally! A nice twist that isn't a cliche, finally. Not all the comedy drew laughs out of me, but some were amazing!!! I LOVE the angry faces~ There were also many twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. It's not shallow, so if you're looking for something quick, save this for later, it really BLEW ME AWAY. However, might be a bit dark for people who dont like vampire stuff. Try it out, though, I hate vampires too but I loved it. The romance was there, but didn't hog up the whole story. In here, adventure, mystery and romance were all friends and shared. The romance also closed up the story. No kissing, but TRY IT.
ART-the art is very good. Hiyoki had nice eyes, and her hairstyle was cute and something new. The hair, face shape, and eyes were well drawn on everybody, although it looked a bit sketchy sometimes. AND HOLY ICHIGO, the boys were HOT! Cain's design was also unique. (Wish he went to my school)
CHARACTER-everybodies character was very distinct. Hiyoki was not those "ooh save me I'm so weak" type of girl, which was awesome. Go, Hiyoki! Ya, ya! You can really empathize with her struggles. No boy was younger than her, or shorter. I hate when couples are like that. Cain is also very mysterious at the beginning, he keeps you reading. The other characters personalities were, for some of them, very unique. If only Barajou no Kiss was completed, too...
ENJOYMENT-YAY IT HAS COMEDY!!! I love comedy. Yes, it was serious and creepy sometimes, but comedy lightened up the mood. Not all the jokes made me laugh, but all were humourus.
Overall, one of my favs. plus, it didn't drag at all, a huge plus. Boys, I don't know, but GIRLS READ THIS, K?!?!? Berryby-by now. read more

I liked the story, it was simple easy to understand, but certainly had some holes in it. I often found myself questioning the motivation behind som of the character's actions. although the ending wasnt great it was still a good light read.
I hate to keep comparing it to BnK but if you like that one you will really like this. SLH is like Bnk -light, no calories but all the flavor. SLH is not as dark themed as Bnk and a breeze to read. read more
