I randomly found interest in this manga because of the name and synopsis but I honestly adore it, something about it is just really lovable and I do wonder why it’s rated so low because I’ve been adoring every second of it! Definitely check it out if you are interested in unique and beautiful art as well as a story that draws you in and leaves you wanting more. The way it turns mediocrity into a weapon and inspires is incredible.

The characters personalities and designs are unique and well made which just makes it even more interesting. It can be a little predictable but ... the progression is enjoyable and if this were adapted it could be truly beautiful, the way the music is brought out visually in this manga is incredible.

I know the title is weird, but this is probably one of the best new, non-mainstream manga out right now. besides, its always the anime/manga with the weird titles that end up being surprisingly good (considering banana fish and I want to eat your pancreas).

Story: 7/10
At first, the story might seem somewhat cliche or over-used, but the way it unfolds soon after is what makes it amazing. Instruments and music seems like something that would not work out too well in manga format which does not have ... soundtracks or songs like anime do, but the way each piano piece is presented in the panels is wonderful and breath-taking.

Art: 8/10
The art style is unique and easily recognizable compared to other shonen manga, which I enjoy, considering how most manga art styles nowaday all look somewhat the same.

Characters: 9/10
Despite the designs looking eccentric or basic, with funny hairstyles and bright colors, the way they are written are all good. Each character have their own motives, personalities, and are not just summed up to stereotypes or simple definitions of some "cool edgy rival who has a superiority complex" or "villain doing bad things for the sake of being bad".

Enjoyment: 8/10
Being someone who loves original, non-mainstream plots and ideas, I loved PPPPPP. I had doubts and worries at the beginning when I first started, but most of them are gone now. Waiting for new chapters every week is a pain, but it is worth the wait.

Overall: 8/10
With the quality in the current chapters and being past the 50 chapter mark, I doubt it would be cancelled so please give this manga a go :)

The ending was very disappointing, I was expecting more depth to the story and it kind of just leaves you on a cliff hanger. I enjoyed the first half of the story very much, the characters were interesting and just like any other story it had a basic plot but it was progressive. Now once we get to the like competition ark I think that’s where it starts to go down hill, the “battles” or competition get drawn out which you know is fine sometimes since it can add more to the story but after a while it started to feel like I was reading ... the same thing over and over again because of the cycle it had with dealing with conflicts.
Anyways I’m trying not to put any spoilers since I finished reading it but the reason why I say the ending was cliffhanger, it was like the exact climax of the story. Now that would have been fine but it was like 69 chapters of build up just to leave you dissatisfied on 70, the ending just leaves you having more questions. But still I would usually be ok with stories like this but the ending came from the left field, it was so rushed.
