Synopsis

At the start of the Edo period, the samurai Toyohisa Shimazu is in the midst of a bloody battle against the legendary Tokugawa clan to ensure the successful retreat of the Shimazu clan forces.

After his entire unit is massacred, Toyohisa manages to single-handedly force the enemy to withdraw—at the cost of being mortally wounded. Walking out of the battlefield dejected, he mysteriously finds himself in a white hallway, where he’s immediately thrown into a door. He awakens in a different world, and there he encounters "Drifters," other legendary warriors who died and ended up in the same realm. Together, they use the knowledge and experience from their past lives in order to take over an empire and fight against an unknown force of evil that intends to crush all humanity.

One for the guys that like the whole history or war and the art of war kinda thing.

Think back through all the alternate universe/ timeline plots you've read and you'll probably realize they all have one thing in common...it definitely has something to do with the modern world. Indeed, whether it is a ninja arriving in modern time or some kid who went to the demon world, there's always a link to our daily life so we can relate to it better... Drifter throws that out the window

So this is the manga that Kouta Hirano is working on now that Hellsing is over.

Okay, so right there, you should realize some things it will have: Blood, Violence...and, well, more violence.

Although this manga is incredibly weird, it's a fix for hellsing fans now that hellsing is over. Personally, I like it. Kouta Hirano's signature art style is as weird as usual, and there is a serious dose of dark humor.

There are not that many chapters as yet, so it's hard for me to really say anything about the story. Clearly it is going somewhere, but at the moment I'm ...

Drifters manga, first time I read this manga made me into fan quickly. I love the fact that war generals and famous bodies are in this manga and fighting off each other! even the fact that they are all great heroes.

If I were to compare this Masterpiece of a Manga to a game, This would be totally a DOTA or Defence of the Ancient type.


But due to our lazy Author Kouta Hirana, Readers and Soon-to-be readers will have to achingly wait for chapters to be out in raws more so being translated but LUCKILY, a new scan group started releasing newer chapters already!! this made ...
