SynopsisA sequel to Neon Genesis Evangelion based in a world that Shinji creates that relives the events of Evangelion. Only this time around, he is aware of what actually happened, but believes those events to be a dark dream of the future. He resolves to make sure that the dream does not become realized. Meanwhile, the Asuka from Shinji's "dream" watches from afar, despising Shinji and the Asuka of his world that he has resolved to protect.

This is actually a wonderfully well made manga, that tells an alternative ending to Evangelion. Why is it wonderful?
First of all, the story is very creative, well developed and tending more to romance than the original (yeah, I really mean ROMANCE, not what some of you may be thinking xD), but it does contain some action too.
It... also gives the same disturbed and anguished feeling the original gives (which I consider pretty difficult to accomplish, since NGE has a very complex and detailed plot which gives a dark and distressing atmosphere)
And don't let the fact that it contains hentai keep you from reading it, since the hentai scenes are very few and fit pretty well with the story, giving a realistic feeling (hentai isn't the main theme for this, so just skip them if they bother you so much :P)
If you're an Evangelion fan, I highly reccomend this manga, but if you're looking for hentai, you should go look somewhere else xD

Oct 15, 20085 of ? chapters read 13 of 17 people found this review helpful When I saw that this manga was a hentai based manga of Evangelion I gave myself a few thoughts about whether I should read it or not, but as I am a HUGE fan of Evangelion I decided to just go of it and read it.
I realised that this isn’t just some randomly created hentai based on Evangelion as for one thing there are actually little hentai scenes in this but rather they are used as a way to show how Shinji and Asuka relationship builds (Unlike in the original where Asuka was more ...seen giving Shinji the cold shoulder)
This manga gives out an alternative ending of the Evangelion story which I thought was simply lovely, I have read this manga around 3/4 times. It doesn’t curse aside from the odd story line we all know Evangelion to be but rather add more to it but still in an understandable way.
I would definitely recommend this to any Evangelion fan, because it truly is an enjoyable remake of the Evangelion. If you dislike hentai type of scenes you could always skip those parts, but they honestly do not last long and you’ll see how it fits well with the story line and which makes it a better story all together.

Sep 28, 20085 of ? chapters read 6 of 11 people found this review helpful Going into this doujin, I had read several other reviews (on myanimelist as well as other resources) all saying that it exceeded their expectations and was amazingly fitting to the story. After the first volume i was completely hooked (staying up to 5 am to finish the entire doujin). The level of quality seen in the illustration and dialogue was outstanding and the story just tied everything together for an unofficial (official in my mind :)) ending to an amazing series. Personally I thought tha...t the sex scenes (although well placed and good for character development and story progression) were a little too hardcore, like something you'd see out of an actual h-doujin. A more softcore approach probably would've worked a little better (although, it was most likely made by otaku so im not exactly surprised). Without spoiling anything, I can confidently say that this was an amazing piece of work, and I just wish I could buy an english print of it. A must read for any NGE fan, even if you didnt like NGE that much after reading this you will :) read more
