both deal with two talented basketball players with a disadvantage who go through many trials to defeat a school that they previously wanted to join.
SAME Mangaka and it is also very very very very gooooood they both touch the romance genre but in kimi no iru machi it is a loooot more developed
Both share a similar themes and both are sports based manga. Hope you enjoy both.

Another story about basketball where the main character joins an average team and keeps getting better. This is VERY similar to Crossover, so if you enjoyed that, this is a must read.
Both series involve high school boys joining subpar sports teams (baseball in Nine, basketball in Cross Over) in an attempt to gain the affections of the team manager and advance to the championships, and the relationships are complicated by romantic rivals from other groups. They are fairly similar stories featuring different sports.
Both series are about school sports teams and have protagonists who decide against attending a prestigious school known for its talented athletes and powerhouse teams and instead go to a school that's down on its luck athletically but will allow them to play with more freedom for the love of the game.
They are like the same story, same theme, just a little different.. but only a little... :p both good sports anime
It should be a given already. They're both by the same author and they both focus on sports and romance. Cross Over focuses more on the basketball aspect of the story, whereas Suzuka focuses more on the romance aspect instead of it's track and field theme.
Both are about a player who ditches a school known for its excellent sports team in favour of one that will let him have fun playing.
