Through Williams, Komi Naoshi perfectly illustrates the idea of what it's like to be a kid again. Now, I'm pretty sure some of you still remember being a kid who daydreams about dragons, fairies, talking trees, flying in the sky with giant birds, fighting some kind of monster with a sword and just spreading your arms to greet the wonderful fantasy world of yours. Then after all those daydreams we continue to believe with all our heart that everything was real, but sadly, we grow to realize that everything we dream of is just too impossible.
Story:
The story was nicely done. I believe it'll touch the
heart of all those who dreamed of that big awesome fantasy world. It makes you think if believing in that fantasy world is really worth it because sometime believing may really just take a while to work.
Art:
I enjoy the art and think you'll too. It'll make you want to go on an adventure too. The art's cute and funny.
Character:
It's great how the main character is a kid. In my mind, kids are innocent and naive and are not as exposed to the world as teens and adults are so that makes Williams the perfect character in this story. It was also nice how there was an older girl. This just shows the different between a mind of a kid and a(n) teen/adult. Lastly, there was an old guy and I think he pretty much symbolizes the possibility if you keep believing.
Enjoyment:
I enjoyed it a lot! It's pretty hilarious and cute! The story bring me back to my childhood years. What still stuck with me is that there is still a little tiny tiny possibility of everything being real, but most likely not.
Overall:
Well, the story was great! Story, art and all. Those who have a big imagination should really give this manga a try. I think it's really worth it! read more
