SynopsisThis is the manga adaptation of the Italian comic book with the same name:
This is the story of five teenage girls who are chosen to be the new Guardians of Kandrakar, who protect the center of the universe from people and creatures who wish to cause harm to it. For this purpose, they have been given powers over the five elements. The new guardians are Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay Lin, whose initials form the title acronym W.I.T.C.H.

Ok I might seem like I overated this. But this manga turned into a great comic book later on in Italy and a great series as well. I love the characters in it. And for any that loves Magical girl will like this alot.
I personally thought the manga (since got cancelled) wasn't much but the show and comic itself. I think more anime magical girl watchers should know of it. It's such a unknown underated show that never got much promo in the USA. Even though of it's creative story-line.
Meanwhile the manga never got to be an anime in Japan. A T.V. series was still created and it's great even if it's not anime. The comics are worth reading since they like mangas are to animes. The comics are totally different story-line then the show. Of course the comics being the original though.
Even so I reccomend any magical girl lover to the series and comic books. While the manga itself is cute and was great seeing them in manga-style. Don't let that fool you for the series itself.

Both are having students that transform into magical girls, but Wedding Peach has more comedy and the main element of the manga is love, unlike W.I.T.C.H.

Similarties are plenty, except in TMM they are animals and in W.I.T.C.H. they are pixie-like. Both transform and fight evil from another world, except in different ways. W.I.T.C.H. without the leader none of the girls could fight. Though they still retain a few powers untransformed. Both also have it's share of comedy and romance.
