Synopsis

The year is 199X. The Earth has been devastated by nuclear war. The seas have dried up and the land is cracked and desolate. Most living things on the planet have become extinct apart from the human race. In this new age violence rules as civilsation is lost and the strong rule the weak in a world where food and water are the only thing wth value. At this time a mysterious man named Kenshiro appears with his deadly martial art, the 2000 year old Hokuto Shinken. With his deadly style eliminating the evil is he the saviour of the new era?

Riki-oh add

Brtual martial arts, Limbs flying, Hapless secondary characters never having a happy ending, Invincible super badass for a protagonist. These are just a few things that Riki-oh and FoNS share. Although I preferred Riki's art style more both were amazing series.

Souten no Ken add

Kasumi Kenshiro, from Souten no Ken, is the 62nd sucessor of Hokuto Shinken and the older brother of Ryuken, Kenshiro's (from Hokuto no Ken, Hokuto Shinken's 64th sucessor) master. Both are written by Buronson and drawn by Tetsuo Hara. Expect the same action, drama and disproportional thugs in both manga.
