SynopsisFrom Turtle Paradise -
Most girls are crazy about jewelry, but not Agnés Yamamoto. Not since her father gave her a rose choker as a child, claiming it was a protective amulet which would safeguard her from harm; however, if she ever took it off (a feat easier said than done!), she would be afflicted by a “punishment” of some sort- not like it matters to her, since the attention it attracts around school from faculty and students alike isn’t something she’s particularly fond of. But after a certain incident causes the choker to disappear, she realizes that this punishment her father spoke of might have been a bit more than she bargained for! |

Agnes loses the choker and now has 4 knights to serve her forever, whats a girl to do? The manga has had only a few chapters translated so far but from what I can tell the story seems pretty unique; unique enough for a reverse harem of 4 knights summoned from cards, with special powers and loads of roses!
The characters each have very different personalities to each other (all of whom are really well developed especially the knights and its hard to just like one) and the female protagonist I suppose is meant to represent your average school girl who couldn’t care less about becoming a Rose Princess.
The art is as one would expect of the shougo genre and it isn’t difficult to distinguish who is who when reading. The overall enjoyment is really good as I read the 10 chapters all in one go; which speaks for itself. A magical plot, with a hint of light-hearted romance, a bit of action, lots of comedy and set in the high school years; a feast for the rom-coms fans, what more could you want? read more

In both, one girl have a magic deal with few boys, and she really dislike one of them (on the beginning). Realy similar history.
Pretear is one of my all time favorite manga series, and I simply could not stop noticing the similarities while I was reading Barajou no Kiss. In both, a girl who doesn't quite fit in suddenly finds herself surrounded by a group of (rather attractive looking) knights. Neither are your typical mahou shoujo because they both go beyond simply fighting evil. Both heroines are suddenly involved with the knights without quite knowing the whole story. Both sets of knights hide parts of the past and their history from her, and things are a lot more complicated than they appear. If you're a fan of one, you should DEFINITELY try reading the other. :)
