Mixed Feelings
Huge fan of Yagi-senpai here.
This one shot is not particulrarly good... But it's not bad, neither!

You can't develop characters in 50 pages. It's also impossible to show how complex your plot is. As a one shot, it just shows the style that he would use in a longer story, and it's versatility. Yagi does a good aproach there.

Story: Not a mind blowing plot, but Yagi can create masterpieces with simple plots. The one shot presents some incoherences, but nothing he can't fix with a new "first" chapter, if serializing.

Art: from the first ilustration, Yagi's style is unmistakable. It's just beautifull.

Claracter: Meh, nothing interesting to remark ...

Mixed Feelings
Unfortunately, the only interesting thing about this one-shot is it's the first thing Claymore's author has done since that manga ended a few years ago. What we have here is a pretty clichéd sci-fi story about a moon princess and a goofy kid trying to protect her. The kid reminds me of Raki. Nobody likes Raki.

The art is very good, so there's your silver lining. There's a twist at the end that's kind of neat but fairly inconsequential. The characters aren't developed enough for the reader to feel any tension when they're in danger, but I think this was supposed to just be a ...
