SynopsisThe continuous struggle of good and evil, angel and devil respectively, still ensues and neither one of them wants to give up. The story is about a devil named Sword who has an angel rival named Io. They fight to the point that in their 101st battle, that they severely wounded each other and both fell toward Earth. Having deep wounds but not wanting to die, Sword looks for a body to be able to possess. He somewhat finds a thoroughly, beat-up, unconscious boy thus he entered it allowing him to live.
He eventually finds out that the body he possessed is far too weak- in short a nerd. Furthermore, his rival Io also possessed a body in order to survive, unfortunately, it's the twin brother of Sword's host which is the opposite behavior- violent. Not only that, they cannot use each of their own power!
Being opposite of their behavior's host, problems are escalating. But Sword has bigger worries, both devil and angel are after him, what will happen now?

The Story and Art are awesome.
It's about a 101th battle between the Angel Ios and the Demon Sword. As they fight they injury each other and fall on earth very badly injuried. Each of them will posses a human body, which turns out both of those guys bodies are actualy twin brothers.
As the story goes on, they fight with various devils and trying to find a way to get back to their original bodies and regain their power.
The Art is fascinating. You can see little details which are left out in other mangas and it's good for an action manga.
The characters have each their interesting part. Good and Evil.
If you put all this together it is pure enjoyment to read "Devil and Devil". Some chibi drawings, which makes it funny. Serious drawin and very detailed. which makes u stop from reading and try to make the scene very realistic.
Overall i'll give it a 10. read more

Devil & Devil is an amazing manga during the 90's. The story begins with the 2 main heroes of story, Sword the Devil and Ios the Angel, having their 101th battle against each other. Both of them injured each other and fell to earth with fatal wounds, Sword who refuses to die decided to take over a male teenager who happen to be nearby. Later, he met Ios who also took over a human's body as he also meets the same situation as Sword and to make it all worse, the humans they took over are twins.
The story focuses on Sword and Ios trying to regain their true body. Sword is a ruthless devil who enjoys to fight and would do anything to regain his body but despite being a devil, he still have his pride as warrior and refuse to fight by cheating. Although he is ruthless and rude, the heroine of the story, Nanami, tends to control him as the human that he took over, Souma, is afraid of her.
This manga has a great action scenes as well as good humor but it does occasionally shows some ecchi scenes. The story has good art especially the action packed battle scenes which are very impressive and have some light humor where Sword gets ordered around by Nanami despite his protests again Souma's body.
Overall, this is story is fun to read as the comedy scenes as well as the battle scenes are fun to read. Those below 16 are advised not to read as it does contain some very ecchi scenes. read more

Both with a similar sort of chaotic humour. Both tell a story about the war of angels and demons, the hell, the heaven,the devil and a maincharacter who is evil, or, at least, think to be evil. And both deal with the love between a devil and a human.
