24 Colors: Hatsukoi no Palette (Manga)

Story: 8/10
Nanaka loves to paint. So when she enters high school, she gets excited at the prospect of joining the arts club. However, there's only two members-- the mysterious Chihaya and the energetic Kento. They're both good-looking guys, and Chihaya shares Nanaka's love for painting! Alongside the two gorgeous guys (and Nanaka's best friend)...what will happen?

First off, the story was WAY too fast moving. It seemed that they hardly knew each other for a week. Not kidding, It goes from the first day, next day then I think a few days later. I think that may be TOO fast for love to "Bloom", as they put it. However, the story was extremely cute and fluffy, and readable.

Art: 10/10
The art is why I wanted to read this in the first place. After reading 7th Period is A Secret I wanted to read more of Chiba's work. She has such cute characters and the movement between scenes is smooth and clean. The backgrounds are wonderful. Even the artwork the characters draw themselves (Chihaya's flowers/Nanaka's people) are extraordinary. Its Shoujo styled (Of course) but not so shiny that your eyes bleed.

Character: 5/10
There was zero character development, since the story moved incredibly fast. I really liked Nanaka, but she fell in love way too fast. Faster than most girls in Shoujo manga (Who fall in love like... *snaps*). Chihaya was just plain awesome, yet he annoyed me beyond anything else. Kento was my favorite, even though his "love" was never clearly explained or dipped into. And I really disliked Nanaka's best friend, she was beyond annoying. But without the character development, they were really... flat...

Enjoyment: 7/10
It was a quick read, but since there could have been SO much more to it, I really thought of it as a waste of those 5 minutes. The story could have been drawn out, more situations (Like Kenta confessing and so on...) could have been there, more time for "Love" to actually be there.

If you like shoujo, and really pretty art, and zero character development, then this story is for you. If you want lengthy stories, and tons of character drama~ Then this isnt for you. :D

I have really high ratings for this manga because I liked it and it was really good +.+

The story was good, it has some unexpected twists around the corner and sweet romance going on in front of you. But I have a feeling that they should have made it a bit longer, because it was too short. They fell in love too early, they parted too early and it ended too early. ">.> Couldn't they just have expanded it a bit? A few more scenes or... "days" should do the trick.
