Synopsis

After being dumped, followed closely by her grandmother's sudden death, the chubby Yuri is left broke and homeless. That is until she discovers that her grandmother had been lying to her for years. Her mother is not dead, but is in fact a famous movie star, and very much alive.

Upon arriving at her mother's house, she meets her three new beautiful siblings, all from different fathers. Her newfound family is filled with hilarious oddities, ranging from laziness to drunkennes to gay incest. She is constantly antagonized by her brothers Sumire and Aoi. And her sister Fuyou does little to help. And thus Yuri becomes little more than a maid in the household, catering to her siblings needs while her mother travels the world. But as Yuri's warmth fills the house which before had been so cold...what will happen between her and her brothers? Can they come to see each other as siblings before it's too late?

Bara no tameni has standard plot, standard art, but extraordinary characters.


The story is simple, you can find it a LOT. But i bet you will never find any manga that more enjoyable for this genre. I can not tell you how much i love and enjoy this manga.

Even though the story is simple, but the characters have their own charm. You will unable to hate every character in this manga. If you just want to feel positive, cheerful, and not stressed out because of antagonist character, i believe you need this manga.

The synopsis does not do justice to the manga. It is so bland that it will turn most readers away. But then again, I do not want to spoil anything by modifying the summary. Just read the manga. It will not be a waste of time. This is a great read. One of the hidden jewels. I stumbled upon this gem on accident and am very glad that I did. If you want to read a very open minded manga go for it! I was really impressed and was wondering how ppl actually received this manga during that time.
Ohh before that I must say, There are half brother and sisters and Ofcourse romance budding between them so if such things make you uncomfortable then probably don’t go for it.
But its written in such a way that actually doesn’t make you uncomfortable to be very frank.
