SynopsisOne day, ordinary high school student Kogami Kii finds himself caught up in a strange kind of zombie apocalypse, involving 'magic girls.' While idly looking out of the school window, Kii sees what looks like a little girl hitting a teacher, causing his head to explode violently. Convinced he's dreaming, he goes to the restroom to get his act together.
Unfortunately, its not a dream, and he arrives to find the creepy little girl repeatedly saying "magical" as she slaughters his friends and classmates. Soon, Kii and his childhood friend--a quiet, often-bullied girl called Tsukune-- are witness to the resurrection of their friends' corpses into a zombie-like murderous mob crying the single word "magical." Now Kii and Tsukune must try to endure with the other survivors, and try to find out what has happened to their world.

Holy Shit this manga is woah. It first started as one of your average mangas BUT the whole atmosphere changes and next thing you know, you're shocked and amazed at the same time. You will just need to handle some crazy scenes and gore. But it's not only about the gore, the plot itself is great. Definitely one of the best Mangas out there. It needs an Anime. good luck reading.

Mahou Shoujo of the End! is a story about Kogami Kii who finds himself caught up in a strange kind of zombie apocalypse. Although nothing special happens in his life, one day he looks out the window and everything changes from there.
Mahou Shoujo of the End! probably took some ideas from High school of the dead and Deadman wonderland in a sense but it's more thrilling and will leave you on the edge of your seat everytime wondering how they are going to survive.
Overall, it's an enjoyable manga that I recommend you to read. If you enjoyed High school of the dead or Deadman wonderland , I highly recommend you check this out. read more

Both of these serialisations start in a very similar manner: Most of the people in the male protagonist's classroom are massacred by a female being with powers.
Starts off fairly normal when something out of the ordinary appears and shatters the normalcy of the main character's life. Cue pandemonium.
Both series adapts a similar style of story telling and involves a main male protagonist whose life is changed forever after a faithful event.
In both series, there is violence, gore, and blood being shed. All of these are presented in a way that is gruesome and most times tragic.
There is a mysterious source to the events going in both series and the main protagonist struggles to learn more about them along with others.
Both series also incorporates drama, horror, and occasionally mild comedy.

Narrative and character tropes in these two titles are basically the same. One could argue that Mahou Shoujo of the End is HotD with "zombie" magical girls.
Begins with a normal start only to have something unthinkable happen and destroy what the main character considers normal. Namely zombies. From there, it's a game of survival!
