This is a beautiful story. Although there are many stories out there that have a similar theme, I think this one has its own uniqueness and beauty. I'm not a big fan of webtoons/manwha, because I've been growing up reading too much manga. Up until at this point, when I read western comics I still get confused reading from left to right. But I have to say, webtoons are more convenient to read since you just scroll down (ignoring the occasional left to right reading). Even though I find it inconvenient reading this sort of thing; it's a sacrifice I have to make, because the story is just so darn good.
One of my biggest pet peeve when it comes to manga (call me shallow),is the art. I just can't stand reading manga with bad art (or messy art). If I was to criticize this webtoon, I would pick the art. Throughout the story, the characters are drawn in chibi form most of the time, which was annoying for me at first. But then I realized, during crucial events in the story--the art would change. At that point I understood what the Manwhaga was trying to do. I looked beyond the art, because it served a role in influencing the meaning of the story.
The main theme in this story is finding happiness in the relationship each human being has with one another. I praise this webtoon for sharing such strong human emotions--it brought me to tears. This is where the art comes in; in simple moments where the characters are happy, the manwhaga draws them in chibi form; it conveys the message of how in our everyday lives we can find simple and little things to make us happy. But moments in the story where it involves amazing emotions, the art changes into a more serious version. I thought that was true for all mangas/manwhas/webtoons, but in the case of this webtoon it was special.
Seriously, this is a beautiful story. It talks about how everyone how human relationships are important; and the beauty of how we all can depend on each other. Although the drawing lacks detail, the story fills in the gaps.

Hi guys, I want to first start off with READ THIS WEBTOON. Lol, jokes aside, this webtoon is probably one of the best webtoons out there as it draws pure emotion from the readers. I came across this webtoon by chance when I was surfing for webtoons at Daum instead of my usual hotspot Naver.
(OK, to make this simple, I'll give you guys some background information. There are [to my knowlege] 2 major Korean search engines that regulates webtoons. One is Naver, the other is Daum. From Naver came other well recognized webtoons such as Noblesse, Tower of God, City of Dead Sorcerer, etc. while from Daum came works such as Accord, Trace, and other lesser-known-in-English-websites webtoons. Still, many Koreans believe that Daum's webtoons have more plot-centered and story-driven webtoons but hey, it's preference)
When I entered the Daum webtoon portal, Can't See Can't Hear But Love was one of the first webtoons that caught my eyes. And since I liked romance manga/manhwa/webtoon, I thought I would give this seemingly-romantic webtoon a try, and I was so satisfied with it after I was finished that I told all of my Korean friends to read it.
In Can't See Can't Hear But Love, the readers are introduced to two very likable and happy main characters, Min Geun-Soo and Jeon Sori, in the first few chapters. Seeing them, despite their disabilities being able to be happy and love each other draws the readers to bond with them. But just like any other Korean Drama, this happy couple won't be left alone as difficulties arise and other characters come in to play. Although it has a seemingly cliche plot line, it finds a way to break free from expectations through the author's ingenuity in drawing the characters together into the grand story.
Story- 10/10
The greatest part of this webtoon is how the author ties in 3 very different characters together into one story- a blind man, a deaf girl, and later even a dog that has been left behind by its owner who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. The love between the couple is not a smooth sailing but whenever the boat begins to rock, the readers can see how deeply the love between the two lies.
Art- 10/10
Despite some people complaining about the chibi-drawings of characters time to time, I learned to enjoy what the author is trying to show with those images. First of all, like all chibi images are meant to be, they are cute (lol). By showing the chibi versions of characters, especially Sori, the author shows the characters' pureness and also brings comedy into the serious situations. Thus by using comic reliefs, author can effectively draw in the readers closer by making the plot tense at times and fun at times.
Character- 10/10
The author's development of his characters are remarkable. In the end, after getting to know all the characters, you begin to even sympathize with the 'villains' of the story. The author shows how the unlikely couple of a blind man and a deaf girl came to be about and also how other characters tie into the story as well. Thus after seeing the story from other characters' viewpoints, the readers can realize that these people were just being human after all, albeit selfish at times but still being human, and by doing this the readers begin to fully sympathize with the characters and their actions. All in all, the characters are carefully molded by the author so that none of them seem inhumane in their actions and that all characters have reasons behind their actions (yes, even the dog has its reasons).
Enjoyment- 10/10
After what I wrote for the Story, Art, and Character, need I say more? This webtoon plays with one's emotion so effectively that it appeals to a wide range of audience of both genders. Anybody can sympathize with these characters and by doing so, the readers can become personally involved as they read the webtoon, much like what happened to many of the characters in this webtoon. Yes, there is a webtoon inside this webtoon. By having the characters' lives change through webtoon, the author also sends out the message that 'Hey, webtoons are more than just pictures with air bubbles with text. They can be the source of one's happiness, excitement, sorrow, and even salvation.' (Of course the author himself really didn't say that so don't get mad at him if you think that message is over the board hehe.)
Overall- 10/10
No other webtoon/manga, no other form of literature was this successful in captivating my heart to read it. No other form of literature made me cry while reading it either. This fine work can and should be read by anybody who wants a good time reading an excellent story. There is not much more to say about how great this webtoon is without being even more repetitive than I already am being. On that note, I would like to encourage EVERYONE to read this webtoon and this was cwryoo21, one of the proud translators of this webtoon :) read more

These two are completely different mangas with a whole different plots but one thing they have is that they make you cry for hours. Both of them are a masterpiece in my opinion. If you haven't read these two mangas that mean your life had been under a rock. Now push that rock away and read these wonderful, amazing, beautiful mangas.

They don't have that much in common, but both the leading girls are deaf and go through hardships.
