*Portrays the concept of love in a highly realistic manner. Demonstrate the vastly different approach to love between a man and a woman.*
"I'd rather choose the sin of loving you than the happiness of not loving you." - Yoshiki Suzumura
I am frustrated. Extremely frustrated.
NEVER in my life have I ever rooted for a pair of lovers like this before.
NEVER in my life have I ever clawed at my myself so violently and wishing to punch at the computer screen and curse at the handful of evil-doers only to be the witness of their evil deeds one after another after another.
NEVER in my life have I ever had my feelings split so deeply between wanting to drop the manga and wanting to continue reading the manga. Dropping it because my poor little heart can no longer endure the reaction of seeing all the wrong choices made by the protagonists. Wanting more of it because the story can be so heart-warming and heart-breaking at the same time. I honestly lost myself to this 18 volumes incest romance. Words alone cannot describe my love and hate for this masterpiece.
It seems most adult romance novel/manga (non comedic, non slice of life) now a day all include some form of sexual content. I have come to except that as an unwritten rule. While I was initially attracted to this manga because of the incest relationship, the story ultimately turned into deep hardcore romance accompanied by sin and more sin. I was surprised at how well written the story was thus I google up the mangaka and then the mystery was solved. The mangaka, Miyuki Kitagawa, is married to her brother. So it makes sense that she can write in such detail on how the whole world is turned against their forbidden love relationship.
The artwork matured overtime. The initial drawings for the first half of the story are inferior in every way to the latter half. Most of these improvements came from the additional character texture and facial expressions that made the already pretty looking characters even more pretty. The one major downfall is that the characters all seem to suffer from the "over-sized arms and legs" syndrome though I was glad they somewhat corrected the problem in the later volumes.
One thing I have learned from the characters in Tsumi Ni Nureta Futari is this. It is better to be with a smart woman that loves you more than you love her, than a stupid woman whom you are madly in love with. The latter will potentially bring you unwelcome and unneeded suffering (mentally, physically, and your career). Call me a coward if you like, but I honestly cannot compare myself to the one and only hero in the story, Yoshiki Suzumura. Overall, the characters in the story are all very well developed; some even to the point where you know the type of perfume they use.
**The follow is the writer's opinion on the story and will contain spoiler, read at your own discretion**
I really like the gradual love affection build up between the siblings. They knew their love is forbidden, yet they could not stop themselves nor allow others to stop them even if it means hurting their friends and family. They went from sane love to insane love just to be together. The story is truly splendid in that sense. However ...
I am terribly terribly disappointed with the ending for the antagonists. Even though it may seem a win-win situation for all, I cannot agree with this outcome. While on one hand the story concluded nicely with the romance and wrapped up all the characters ending, it ultimately failed in bringing a sense of justice to all the evil plots done to our hero and heroine. Justice was not served. None at all.
Lastly, tell me one thing (via pm or post on my comment board). Which one is more SINFUL?
1. Allowing the siblings to commit incest (they practice safe sex!).
2. Tell the man who claims to love you to impregnate your own daughter even if it means raping her on a daily basis. read more

I haven't read this in a while so bear with me...
Story-
The first thing that drew me to this was the promised incest, if you've got incest in a plot you know there is going to be a hell of a lot of angst and romance. The overall idea isn't the most thought out or original- separated siblings that have a fling in Rome then they meet at a funeral only to find out...they are brother and sister! Like I said it isn't the most original. However I think once we get past the love square (which actually isn't as annoying as most love squares are), we can see the manga for what it really is; a very cute, honest and warmly sweet story. The forbidden love element only heightens its appeal though I do find a complainant in it's all too much soap-opera approach. Never less I'd say it's a decent plot.
Art-
Typically adorably! Although this type of artwork is to be expected from this manga I still finding myself muttering "kawaii" everything I see Kasumi whom plays the sister in one of her shōjo outfits. I think the art exceeds expectations and for me is definitely more detailed than I thought it would be. Occasionally people are out of proportion or the artwork looks rushed or tired but in general it’s pleasant and something to watch out for.
Character-
I think the nice thing about the characters in this is that you’ll find someone who will annoy you but also someone who you’ll really like. My personal favourite is Yoshiki’s (whom plays the brother) crazy girlfriend Kyoko, just because I think she’s the character with the most depth. Kasumi is a big question mark, she never stops crying but I think the mangaka does a good job of showing her love for Yoshiki. The characters are average but none the less passable.
Enjoyment-
Despite its faults Tsumi ni Nureta Futari is one of those manga’s that just draw you in, and I would be lying if I denied enjoying this manga. I laughed out loud, smiled and frantically claw at my screen for the next chapter in anticipation.
Overall-
This manga is one you can be pleased to add to your “completed” list. It’s naive, sugary and touching and despite complainants that I can find in it I still recommend you to read it.

Both are josei by the same mangaka and have a forbidden love theme.

|
They both have incest theme {brotherxsister}.Their only difference is that Flower of evil contains a bit darker story than Tsumi ni Nureta Futari. Overall, both are worth reading.
