This tale of forbidden fruit is ripe with angst and taboo.

Nineteen year old college girl Kasumi is traveling in Italy after a painful breakup. In Rome, she meets a handsome Japanese man and, knowing nothing about him, not even his name, she has a one-night stand with him. There should have been no chance of them meeting again, but when Kasumi gets back to Japan, she learns that fate has played a cruel trick! The man she slept with was Yoshiki... her younger brother!! And that's only the start of it...

*Portrays the concept of love in a highly realistic manner. Demonstrate the vastly different approach to love between a man and a woman.*

"I'd rather choose the sin of loving you than the happiness of not loving you." - Yoshiki Suzumura

I am frustrated. Extremely frustrated.

NEVER in my life have I ever rooted for a pair of lovers like this before.

NEVER in my life have I ever clawed at my myself so violently and wishing to punch at the computer screen and curse at the handful of evil-doers only to be the witness of their evil deeds one after another after another.

I haven't read this in a while so bear with me...

The first thing that drew me to this was the promised incest, if you've got incest in a plot you know there is going to be a hell of a lot of angst and romance. The overall idea isn't the most thought out or original- separated siblings that have a fling in Rome then they meet at a funeral only to find out...they are brother and sister! Like I said it isn't the most original. However I think once we get past the love square (which actually isn't as annoying as most love squares are), read more

Tsumi ni Nureta Futari was a very touching forbidden love story. The two main characters meet as man and woman before ever knowing their true identities. As they interact their love intensifies as well as the hardships associated with incest...

Story 8/10: It was a sad, complex story that allowed for the reader to become completely submersed.

Art 8/10: The art was good, but at times features were out of proportion.

Character 9/10: The characters were well written, with the perspective of every character fully developed. One could sympathize with each person's view.

Enjoyment 8/10: It was a really great story that pulled me along handmade read more

Manga: Seisei Suruhodo, Aishiteru
Both are josei by the same mangaka and have a forbidden love theme.

Manga: The Flowers of Evil
They both have incest theme {brotherxsister}.Their only difference is that Flower of evil contains a bit darker story than Tsumi ni Nureta Futari. Overall, both are worth reading.

Manga: Koi Kaze
they are the same dramatic story, involving bother and sister that did not grew up together and do not remember etch other at all and fall in love.
but Tsumi ni Nureta Futari Similar is more drama than Koi Kaze!

Manga: Embrace
Both are about siblings that were raised apart and only meet several years later. They cannot look at each other as siblings and start developing love feelings towards each other.

Manga: Tenshi Kinryouku
Though Yoshiki isn't a reincarnated angel, holding the world's salvation and destruction in his hands... Setsuna and him love their sisters more than they are supposed to. In Angel Sanctuary, the ones keeping the coupled sibling apart though are angels and devils...

Manga: Tsuki ni Kiss no Hanataba wo
The author is the same and we can find some elements which characterize them both : the type of heroine, the sensuality and the drama of the story...
