I really wish I had Joukyuu as my master. This guy keeps it real most of the time.
It also goes to show you how power always corrupts in some sort of way. This manga is definitely not for kids. But the thematic elements really die down after the first arc. I think it has a very good mix of elements: Comedy, Ecchi, and MARTIAL ARTS. The story was lacking but I still found myself enjoying it.

But if you like "Historys Strongest Disciple Kenichi" Or "Tenjo Tenge" I think its well worth looking into.

I agree with the previous review, but with out meaning any offense , hes also short changing this manga a little bit as as well.
With out a doubt , there is a strong line of comedy ,that runs through out the entire series , that make it stand out from others in the crowd. It is funny as well as all the other tings typical of this genre.
I found it a little slow in the begging , but as it moved read more

Ever spent 8 hours doing something that's both boring AND a waste of time? If you haven't, then read this manga. At the end, you will be able to say to yourself "I have finally wasted 8 hours of my life reading an incredibly shitty manga for absolutely no reason".

Where to begin with how much this manga sucks? Well, let's start with the surface and work our way in. First of all, the art sucks ass. It looks like it was drawn by an amateur. Sure, you can get a kick out of the amusing facial expressions, but after 50 chapters it gets kind read more

The only element that separates this manga from hentai is the addition of martial arts. While the manga seems average at first, its explicit content of nudity + action really brought the manga to a whole new level. Could use a bit of feminism in it. A definite Shounen manga.

Although Tenjou Tenge has a more serious story line, both are primarily martial arts manga with lots of ecchi.
Martial arts of various styles, insanely skilled masters, comedy and ecchi. If you ever wanted to read HSDK without Kenichi; replaced by egomanical, perverted bastard who doesn't suck at martial arts and can get with the ladies, AIKI is it.
Both feature men which completely believe in their powers, so much that it's gotten to their heads and they're full of arrogance.

Funnily enough, they barely get the beat down they deserve and lay wreck to all their opponents.

If you're looking for a break from the stereotypical "wimpy personality yet insanely strong fighter" type of hero, these two should be both on your list.
Both dealing with Martial arts - Check
Both with a female student seeking to be apprentice to a talented young man - Check
Both star some powerful female characters - Check
Both have school factions out for control - Check
Both have Fanservice - Well Obviously
The main characters differ rather greatly : one cant get close to women while the other is a sex hound

The teacher in both the mangas, Joukyuu and Gumoonryong, are very similar. Both are martial arts prodigies and both take a student/students even though initially they are not willing to do it. Both of them have a badboy/playboy character. Though Aiki is considerably lighter and has a lot more ecchi than Breaker.
Similar looking protagonists who are great fighters, both ecchi comedy action stories, and both have pretty good art, but very different plots. These two series are very similar on a number of points without being retreads of each other in any way.
