Synopsis

"Satoshi and a group of his friends are on a lengthy boat ride to Kijijima when the world comes to an end – literally. A huge Tsunami wave 500 meters tall overpowers the boat and he finds himself stranded on an island and alone. This is a very enjoyable, albeit short, shipwrecked/apocalypse/survival manga. Like most shounen manga of this variety, almost all of the "good guys" are teens whose biggest enemy are adults, but this one is quite enjoyable. Although I wish it was a bit longer, it still has a good ending (which is better than a drawn-out manga, in my opinion).

It's good if you're looking for something that can be read within a day, and you're not looking for anything too deep or powerful.

User Recommendations
Both share a common theme of being forcefully stranded on a deserted island. As they are separated from civilization, they struggle against the forces of nature as well as the faults of humanity. They both soon understand that the most dangerous animals are humans themselves. Both portray a dark tone and give off the same feeling of hopelessness. They explore the mentality of the human mind and how one copes in the face of a desperate situation. While some characters succumb to the pressure, others endure it and become stronger as a result.
