Heroine Shikkaku

Constantly gauging the roles of others, Hatori Matsuzaki has always been the main character, so it's only fitting that she be the heroine for her crush and childhood friend, Rita Terasaka. Even though he has girlfriends, she is convinced that she is the only "right" person for him and that they will eventually be together.

This is the narrative Hatori has followed her entire life. However, her whole world is thrown into chaos when Rita begins paying attention to their classmate Miho Adachi, a plain and unassuming wallflower, and they soon start dating. Hatori begins to question the nature of her reality: has she been the side character the whole time?

I dont really know why a lot of people hate this manga. But i think this is one of the best shoujo manga i have ever read.

The story is not ordinary and the art is okay ( actually i love it though ). But i think the most standout point is the character. I think most of the character in this manga is great and i can see the development. For example lets talk about Rita, the male lead. Characters (I don't hate the heroine)

If you're like me the thing that's making you hesitate are the characters. You read this in the other reviews before "the main characters are so annoying and I hate them". I can see where their coming from but guess what. I don't actually hate the heroine. Feel free to double check that you read it correctly. I was very reluctant to give this manga a try because I heard such bad things about her but honestly I found her to be an interesting character. It's refreshing to ... see such a selfish character in a manga and I really liked her dynamic with Adachi (The girlfriend of the guy she likes). Interesting and ironic when your telling your rival your trying to steal her guy so stand up and fight back otherwise you will take him away. If there is anyone you should hate it is with no doubt Rita. I swear he repeatedly he keeps leading the girls on, cheating, and is so indecisive. I hate him more then I hate Makato (school days). Because at least school days know that their character is trash and he's meant to be. But Rita nooooo what are you talking about he was always a good guy. No he wasn't. And I hate this manga for even making him seem like that in the end. Like he can do no wrong and just plays hero. I don't blame the heroine when Rita is giving her such mixed signals and playing with her.

My answer is if you like drama or feeling frustration. Yeah knock yourself out. A good well plot romance?? stay away. Far away.

It's worth a read if you want to see an interesting dynamic between the two rival girls and how they deal with each other. It's not sugar coated. It's not meant for sweet lovey dovey stuff. And that's why I liked it cuz it was a refreshing change from the shoujo I read. The characters don't have the whole "misunderstanding" nope the drama is meant to happen. created from the characters themselves. purposely. and their well aware of that.

Read a couple chapters if you hate the characters that much you'll finish soon. If your still okay you might survive till the end.

I'm gonna say here the only regrets I have of reading this manga is the end. Probably the worst ending I ever read tbh. I would have actually not much to complain about and so would other people if the ending was different. And yes I did find the manga alright. And there were things I enjoyed. Otherwise I would not have let myself sit through torture reading it all. I hoped my review helped you.

I seriously regret reading this trash. I was just looking for something to pass the time and I came upon this and decided to try it out and oh boy do I regret it. Honestly, I just want to forget abt it but that's not happening anytime soon.

Story 4/10
Honestly, it had potential. It could been a simple and cute story but obviously that didn't happen.

Art 6/10
Nothing much there. It was okay

... Characters 2/10
I could literaly spend hours talking abt how much I hate the characters in this story. Everyone is so selfish and dumb. What really amazed me was the fact I didin't drop it after chap 10. The main characters are the most annoying tho.

MC:
She is really annoying from the get go. She's just really selfish in general. Even tho she knows Rita is dating she still says she'll confess but that's not what even pissed me off. What really pissed me off was the fact that she kissed him even tho he was dating her. I felt like ripping her hair out and mine too. And in the later chaps you think she gets better but noo. I honestly don't she should've ended up with anyone but I guess they do deserve each other(mc and Rita). I felt like slapping her the whole time.

Rita:
I hate this guy so much ughhhhh. He's just another lost cause like mc. They really deserve each other. When she confessed to him he was supposed to set boundaries and make everything clear but instead he led her on and toyed with both her and his girlfriend's feelings. He rejected her later on but then started regretting it later on and started acting like a dumbass. If he liked her then he should've just broken up with Adachi but he led them both on. And then after Hiromitsu provokes him a little he goes and kisses her then tries to go on a date with her like he isn't dating anyone then his girlfriend sees them and then he acts like he never kissed her like dude. I have so much more to say but I'll end it here.

Hiromitsu:
I kinda hated him in the beginning but I came to like a lot later on. He's just your usual playboy that doesn't fall in love. I actually had a little hope for him after some time but it got crushed. I personally don't really know what he finds in fl but idc. I really hoped they would be endgame but that didn't happen obvi. I hated him before cause he kissed fl without consent and only tried to date her to piss Rita off but then he was really sweet when he realized he liked her. I really loved them together because they weren't really toxic when they were dating and they communicated quite well but i was let down in the worst way possible. I wish they dated normally and stuff. They looked really happy together even tho it wasn't for long.

Adachi:
I really never understood this girl. I don't particularly hate her but she was so annoying. Even tho she knew mc confessed to her bf she didn't do anything abt it and just talked like she didn't mind if they all dated the same dude. She also didn't shit when she kissed her bf or when she knew another girl wanted to confess to him. She was really but I'll spare her.

I really dislike everyone else as well except the mc's friend. She was okay.
I wanted to throw my phone on the wall so bad but I held thru idk how. I wish I had dropped it much earlier but my dumbass decided to finish it but I mostly skimping through the whole thing so I can't say much. I really wondered why I didn't just go to sleep.

Anyway, I just wanted to rant as I was really pissed. I would never recommend this to anyone. This was torture. Byeee!!!
